I am here for Friends

About Me

I love everybody...in the sense that Larry David says it to Cheryl's mother in Curb Your Enthusiasm in the episode where they get married again. She raised her eyebrows and if I said that, the people I know would raise their eyebrows. But I do love puppies, good thunderstorms, great coffee, lazy Sundays, old people, oversized soft comfy beds, and many more non-controvercial things.Oh, and I have a Mac. I'm trying to cut error messages out of my life:
You May Be a Bit Obsessive Compulsive...
Meticulous and detailed oriented, you have some irrational obsessions.
Maybe it's your super neat closet or washing your hands a gazillion times.
You probably know it's weird, but you just can't stop thinking about it.
In fact, the more you think about your quirks, the more you have to do them. What Personality Disorder Are You?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Animal lovers (in the platonic way), coffee lovers (decaf doesn't count; please - you're hardly a man/woman!), people with rapacious, sardonic wit, sweetie pies, intellectuals, not so intellectuals. Whatever. You're all good.Would NOT like to meet (if I ever fly over the cuckoo's nest):Nurse Rached

My Ecomonic Stimulus Plan

During the last State of the Union Address, I giggled like a 12 year old at the phrase "stimulus package". Simple minds, I guess. Even though - like most people I suspect - I can be kind of out of i...

Echo is happy!!

Previously, I have blogged about the Pedigree commercials and their adoption drives. I mentioned Echo and how I couldn’t find a youtube video of his commercial, but it made me weep everytime I ...

Yeah, it's that time. The Idol is back on. I have to say, I couldn't handle watching much of the audition process. But I have been watching the last couple of weeks or so as they narrow down to the...

That train was wicked slow.

This morning I realized I could make an earlier train.  I decided however to spend the extra time relaxing and hoping to gather up some energy that didn't seem to be that much within my grasp.&nb...

Dogs rule.

It's probably not much of a secret. I love dogs. Big, small, furry or smooth, lethargic or frisky, older ones, puppies, classically cute, and ones with a face only a mother could love. I pretty muc...

The Amish may be onto something.

Verizon Wireless, which I believe may be one of the larger cell phone carriers, remains one of the worst customer service offenders in my opinion. I've been a customer for 10 years. When I got my la...
