So, this snobby salesgirl at this shoe store was like, “your feet are too big for this shoe,” because I’m a size 11. And I was like, “um...so what?! go in the back and find my size, betch!!!” The song, “Shoes,” just kind of tells that story. That was the first song I ever wrote.
Then I wrote some more songs because there was a lot bothering me. Like one time I asked to borrow my friend’s top and she wouldn’t let me. That sucked. So I wrote, “Let Me Borrow That Top.” And then I was tired of being left out of conversations in the cafeteria, so I wrote, “What R U Guys Talking About?” And then I kept writing, and then my mom was like, “What’s all this song writing? Why aren’t you doing your chemistry homework?!?!” and I was all, “because it sucks,” and she was all, “don’t use that language,” and I wanted to betchslap her but I refrained (vocabulary word; see, I actually do READ sometimes; i just don’t read textbooks and crap like that).
And now I’ve got a CD with a bunch of songs, a video on YouTube and stuff, and T-shirts, and I’m performing at different places and stuff, and my friends are all psyched for me and driving me places. And the best is I recorded my mom yelling at me one day and made a song out of it, “Where Do You Think You’re Going in That?”. That’s my way of saying, “stop yelling at me, betch! I’m going to get what I want!!!”
