What happens when a computer tech turns into a comedian?For whatever reasons most have never pondered the question, but TEKG is answering that on a nightly basis with his unique brand of relevant/irrelevant comedy that takes the stage fullforce. TEKG (AKA GARLYN NORRIS) being a black man whom doesn’t always fit the stereotype associated with him, walks that thin ice and discusses many topics of serious nature in hilarious, un-bias viewpoints that appeals to crowds of all colors and backgrounds.TEKG’s comedy journey began in early 2007, and has progressed into performing on some of the most notable venues in comedy. TEKG currently performs stand-up throughout Las Vegas , Nevada and Dallas, Texas where he honed his act as a participant in Fox ME LAUGH Contest. His resume includes performances at Boomers humors and Pounder’s nightclubs, Hosting a bi-weekly comedy show at the Ice House lounge in Las Vegas and performances at the world famous Improv, and Hyenas comedy clubs in Dallas a Texas, to name a few.When not performing comedy, you can find him TEKG traveling across the country, spreading the wonders of storage, and teaching computers and technology at various community colleges. He also enjoys exercising, nightclubs, and occasionally a karaoke song or two.Professionally he also helps in community development as a member of the NAACP and Urban Chamber of Las Vegas, TEKG’s stand-up includes material appropriate for college’s, adult comedy oriented events, and any crowd ready for a great time!
