Warning GeneratorThe musical project, Stoney Broke Weirdos, was founded in 2005 by Christian Paga – the winner of the official „Daft Punk – Technologic Remix Contest“ and the techno / electro producer, Daniel „Brian“ Brey. The combination of their musical alter egos, 303_ADDICT and GENEMACHINE, is to be seen as a result of their common idea to create a project which does not just simply „fit“ into the contemporary conventions of electronic music. Much more, originality, inventional courage, and a certain pioneering courage are to be seen as the pillars of this project. Thus, the resulting sound is extraordinarily „real“, true to itself, and, thereby, constantly and critically testing out the boundaries of contemporary electronic dance music. With every production, the Stoney Broke Weirdos are trying to construct a bridge between electronic past, present and future. In other words, they are constantly trying to successfully merge the determining features of Old- and Newschool to fulfill their claim of enriching the contemporary electronic underground with their very own unique style and understanding of techno / electro.
