The fusion of electronic sounds @Borgradio.de
During the 80s and 90s of the last century a new, extraordinary sound was developed that was so powerful and energizing that none of the creators of the webradio Borgradio.de could ever think of passing by. From the beginning the sounds entered our brains by storm. The city of Frankfurt/Germany at that time was a good place to feed the passion for the new sounds. It was a place and time when a lot of creative thinkers like Sven Väth, Thorsten Fenslau or Marc Spoon started to develop a new kind of music and ideas of sound which later on casted their spell all over the world.
Well, that was not the birth-time or place of Borgradio.de but it laid the foundation for it.
The Borgradio.de team exists of two organizers and interested DJ's which fill the radio with life and have mostly good to excellent experiences in reginal clubs all over the Rhein-main area and the whole of Germany. In the meantime several european DJ`s start being interested in our webradio station and we hope this progress will go on.
The actual webradio design you can see and enjoy right now, was realized by OneOfSix, one of the organizers. Since the radio wasn´t streaming for a while it took several long, intensive nights and activity to renew the original ideas of the webradio. Right now we are on the right way.
The idea behind the webradio is not to separate the different, electronic sounds but to fusion them and show that they all belong to the same origin. To see how fascinating the styles are you don't have to divide them but compare and see how they exist besides each other.
Our DJ's are very important for us. We are happy to present a very wide range of what can be described as electronic music. The spectrum goes from mainstream genres like house and trance to more special genres like dubstep, epic house or drum&bass. Since there is a lot of possibility to develope, we will not stop until this webradio is one of the leading one´s in the world!
So let the fusion of sounds begin – resistance is futile
