Russella began her glamour career at the age of 24 when she entered a trannie lip-synching competition in the hope of winning so that she could pay her rent. She won, her rent was paid and a glittering career is now in full swing. CURRENT SHOWS- Princess Die – This show is a 45 minute multimedia show and is based on the life of Diana Princess of Wales. It is a darkly comedic look at the princess’ life and all the major events in it - through a montage of film, dance, acting and lip-synched performance. Princess Die (short version) – A 6 minute show in which Russella stands on stage wearing a wedding dress and Camilla Parker-Bowles Mask- She then slowly removes a series of masks of members of the royal family whilst enacting in slow-motion character traits. She finishes with no mask and vomits blood. 'MINK SHMINK' a demure old lady tries to find immaterial love in a birdcage full of feathers - only to realise that at the bottom of the birdcage lies a Louis Vuitton shoe. 'OH FATHER' - In this show Russella transforms on stage from a boy to a girl while lip-synching about a fathers pain when coming to terms with the realisation that his son is on a path of dreams he was too afraid to follow himself. 'AINT NO OTHER MAN' - This touches on one womans need for love as she happily gets ready for an evening out with her man only to find he turns up drunk. This is also performed as a straight lip-synch with dancing and splits galore. 'THE BOY FROM NEW YORK CITY' - A lip-synched burlesque strip tease complete with nipple tassling. 'HAPPY FACE' - 'I woke up this morning, the sunshine was shining. I put on my happy face' the song begins - until gradually the audience comes to realise that the 'Happy Face' is down to drug induced. 'BARBIE GIRL' - Confined to her box, barbie attempts to break free of her cell, eventually tearing down the plastic that blocks her from the outside world. Stripping from her big pink barbie dress only to realise that she is wearing Pink swimwear beneath she tires of the struggle and collapses. 'BLUE VELVET' - A 'Carrie' - esque performance, atmospheric and moody this lip-sych starts with Russella dressed in Blue Velvet until 'Crazy' begins and blood trickles from her forehead.
