Yesterday I was with a young girl who was too weak to stand, she was called Sikinan and had been starving for the past month. The situation has grown so serious that we are bringing in all our medical teams and asking you to help. I am asking every one of my own friends to personally help us now and am also asking them to share this appeal with everyone close to them. This is one of those rare times when every one of us needs to do something and the last time I asked all my friends to join in was another famine a decade ago.
