Voltaxx ist Studioschrauber, Plattensammler, Hundevater und Vegetarier. Populär wurde sein Remix des unglaublichen „Satisfaction“ von Benny Benassi. Neben nationalen Bands wie 2Raumwohnung oder Oomph hat er auch internationale Größen wie Tito & Tarantula oder Sinead O'Connor geremixt.
Seine Produktionen und Mixe erscheinen auf Trendlabels wie Toolroom Rec., Opaque Music, Scream & Shout oder Ministry Of Sound. Sein Sound variiert zwischen Electro-House, Vocal-Clash und progressiverem Tech-House. Dabei sind seine Tracks schubladenfrei, als lege er wert darauf sich nicht zu wiederholen und stattdessen Grenzregionen zu entdecken.
Im Doppelpack mit Freund und DJ Guru Jens Lissat veröffentlicht er seit 2006 auch unter dem Projektnamen „Lissat & Voltaxx“.
Als DJ fühlt sich Voltaxx in der Partyszene Europas zu Hause und heizt mit treibenden Rhythmen international die Clubs ein. Er ist ein gern gesehener Gast auf Mega-Events wie z.B. Loveparade, Streetparade, Nature One etc. und begeistert die Menschen mit seinen ausgefallenen elektronischen Sets.

Voltaxx describes himself as a tireless studio buff, notorious record-collector, dedicated perfectionist and full-blown vegetarian. Voltaxx' former tracks and remixes were released on trendbreaking labels like Toolroom Rec., Opaque Music, Scream & Shout or Ministry Of Sound. He is quite taken by vocal tracks with smooth beats; he likes to combine those with a highwire-walk between House and Electro, never willing to permanantly side with just one style.
His most popular Remix of Benny Benassi's "Satisfaction" has caused quite a stir among the disciples of Electro-House and in the clubs allover the place. It is part of Voltaxx philosophy to seek the inspiration of small, top-of-the-line clubs with transcending ambience in order to freeze-frame that experience in the studio.
Another quite successful combination is his calloboration with German techno guru Jens Lissat. Since 2006 they release under their alias "Lissat & Voltaxx".
