Influences: Life (friends, family, love, loss, food, pets, community, film, photos, books, music, futebol, alcohol, all things paranormal, cartoons, etc.)
Musically: we don't try to sound like anyone else, it's bound to happen
a little, we basically come up with some words and music,
put them together, work it out and have a song.
We write whatever we feel like based on the mood we're in at the
time of writing; pop, punk, folk; whatever, it doesn't really matter.
We each have many different favorites and influences. (way too many to list)
Sounds Like: Fun and poppy in a classic punk style mixed with some "indie rock" and even some post-hardcore punk with touches of folk, pop, grunge, and classic rock thrown in
SOME PEOPLE HAVE TOLD US WE SOUND LIKE:
"the Pixies jamming with the Damned", the Rezillos, the Strike(Chicago), Jello Biafra(Dead Kennedys), the Dead Milkmen, Black Flag, Slant 6(dischord), Nirvana, the Distillers, Archers of Loaf, Pavement, early Cure, PJ Harvey, the Descendents, Green Day, "a quirkiness at times reminiscent of Devo or early B-52's", Screeching Weasel, Sonic Youth, J Church, Mr T Experience, "sort of: early '90's Lookout style", the Ramones
Ultimately we sound like "SeaTac 67". It Kind of depends on the day, time, which song, and each individual's musical frame of reference.
