If You Have A Problem...Take It To Jesus!

About Me

Started professionally singing at the age of 13. The first song he ever wrote was called, "Hey Lord (I'm In Trouble Again)." He, along with his family, took the nation by storm as the nation's number 1 gospel music artists for more than 25 years. With songs like, "Call Me Gone," "I'll Never Be Over The Hill," "He's Having the Time of My Life," "This Joy Is Mine," and many many more, Kenny was adored by thousands of fans, and often mentioned as the inspiration for many of today's country music stars and legends. Kenny was unfortunately taken from us far too soon on July 27, 1995 after a two and a half year bout with cancer. He was heroic even in death, and was survived by his wife Debbie, and his two children, Amanda and Weston.

My Interests

Music:

Influences: Kenny was influenced by a large array of different artists, people, and styles. He was the embodiment of music's melting pot. From the Eagles and the Beetles to Merle Haggard and Elvis Presley, Kenny's voice was unmatched in ability and unique in sound. His musical ability was also one of great accomplishments. Anything he decided he wanted to play, he could pick it up and run with it, but from his childhood, he always worked on his guitar pickin'. His mama taught him his first few chords, and after that, his imagination, and his chet atkins records took over.
