It was out of pure frustration and a desperate need to fight for the precious children, the gift that only God can give. Yvonne personally experienced in a real way childhood abuse. She and her family came to grips with it as adults. One person using his voice ended the chain of events. Yvonne prayed and prayed about what to do to make a difference for children that are going through what she went through. The songwriter currently works in a High School, and daily imagines how many of these children are living the very same life she did growing up. Then God gave here the words “Be A Voice”. We know that it is not God’s will for His children to suffer like that at the hands of Satan and his evil perversion. The bible says in Matthew 18:6, But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a milstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” Yvonne is now the VOICE for every hurting child. She plans to send this song to as many organizations as possible and shed light on this very ugly secret. The truth really does set us free! We have to Be Their Voice! Yvonne feels that God told her that for a reason. The road of healing is not easy for the family, but again we must “Be a Voice.” With Every Nail (Yvonne Goss - words and music) / ‘With Every Nail’, was written when Yvonne looked at her situation, after the Lord gave her the words to ‘Have Faith’, she began to focus on what the Lord Jesus had gone through, and how could she be thinking of taking her life when he gave His for hers. Yvonne, alone in her kitchen began to meditate on Jesus and how very much he suffered just for her. Matthew 26: 38, records Jesus talking to Peter and then to the Father, “Then he said, … “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me. Going on a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Please take time to read Luke 22 and 23 to learn more about how Jesus suffered for us. Yvonne began to focus on his goodness and mercy and how very much He sacrificed for her. The songwriter focused on how he gave every part of him for everyone of us. The words to this song have truly lifted the spirit of depression from her life. Psalm 100:5 says, “For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 103:17 says, “But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children…” With every nail, remember Jesus loves you! Grace Flows Down / This song was written by David Bell, Louie Giglio and Rod Pagaent. All you have to do is listen to this song and you will know why it is one of New Vision’s favorites. We thank God for the words “Grace flows down”. He’s Been Conquered (Yvonne Goss-words and music) / He’s Been Conquered came as a victory song of vindication for the songwriter, Yvonne Goss, her mom and sisters. When all of these women stood praying the 23rd Psalm out loud together, they felt God standing with them as He literally moved their mountain. The Lord gave them peace, boldness and strength to go on to complete their mission. Hebrews 4:12 states, “The word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitude of the heart.” We need to learn to quote the word of God out loud to encourage one another and to encourage ourselves. Of course I think of Dr. Billy Graham every time I hear it because he used it at the end of almost every crusade to welcome thousands to the alter to give their hearts and lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. I realize that you don’t often read a discussion of the goals or focus of a gospel group like New Vision, but because of the time we are living in; we must use our time to be about God’s work. By now you know that you, the reader, are part of answered prayer. The Holy Spirit inspired me to write while New Vision was recording the first six cuts of this new album. The Lord spoke to me all day while they were working. It was a most wonderful time in the Lord for me. I moved through the scriptures as the songs spoke to me, learning the theme, who the message is for and how it can be used in the Kingdom. After sharing with Becky, lead singer, some of what I was given that day, she asked me to name the album and design the cover. I agreed to pray and seek God, but at the time I was sure in my spirit that it was already done. This idea, I believe is inspired by the Holy Spirit. When I was praying I asked the Holy Spirit, “How can we get this album into the hands of the unsaved?” The ideas that came to mind where, “it has to be fresh, attractive, different, it has to stand out, and be easy to give to others”. With that focus, I began to visualize, “The Gift”. Everyone loves to give and receive gifts. This year, if you look around at the most innovative packaging and gift-wrapping ideas you will see gifts that you just do not want to open because they are so unbelievably beautiful. That is where I would take the cover of the 2006 New Vision Project. “The Gift”, the most unbelievable, beautiful free gift of the Lord Jesus Christ wrapped in the ribbon of eternal life. When on display, or being presented to someone, it is my plan for the package to be a beautiful “gift” on one side and on the other side, the group picture of New Vision. The whole Idea is to be so attractive to the eye that you must pick it up and examine it. At that point, the move of the Holy Spirit will tell the rest of the story so to speak. Because New Vision is based in the most beautiful place in the world, the sand, the sea oats, the water, the sky is our backdrop. God is the creator of all the most wonderful art. Now, you be blessed! In the great and mighty name of Jesus Christ! Amen! We are willing, are you? Lay down your life and your will and do God’s will. That is true worship.New Vision Prayer Focus We pray Lord Jesus, Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere, the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. For the word says we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. God we give you glory and honor. Thank you Lord for New Vision, for the dedication, the patience, the energy, the talent, and the evidence of your presence in our lives. Holy Spirit, we thank you for guidance in the development of fresh worship programs that please you and accomplish the work of your Kingdom on earth. We thank you Lord for direction concerning the placement of New Vision in the world with Kingdom vision for the harvest of souls. Holy Spirit, thank you for teaching us, preparing us daily, guiding us, drawing us closer to you so we understand your heart and see through your eyes the needs of others. Holy Spirit, we thank you for the manifestation of your presence in our programs with gifts of healing, deliverance, salvation, restoration, renewal by the supernatural move of God. slide show New Vision We began New Vision back in 1978 afterattending a Hemphill concert at West Carteret High School.They had just written and recorded, "Consider the Lilies".We thought it was one of the prettiest songs we had ever heard; so,we bought the sheet music (which we still have) that nightand the rest is history. We have had the blessed opportunity to minister in so many different churches and festivals over the years, and although some of the members of the New Vision Ministry have changed as time goes by, one thing remains the same....our love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,  and our desire to see souls won and lives changed to the Glory of our Almighty Father!contact codeCONTACT CODE
