About Me

I have been singing since the age of nine. In 1979, I started singing contemporary christian music and almost immediately went on the road. Opened for the likes of Mike Warnke, Jerry Wayne Bernard (Crystal's Dad), Leon Patillo, Stalnecker and the PTL singers in the 80's. I have recorded 3 projects over the years and I write some of my own material. I was a music evangelist for over 20 years and sold thousands of albums. In 1986, I wrote a song entitled "Love Them While They're Older" in honor of my father who passed away from Cancer. It was adopted by the National Council of the Aged as one of it's theme songs. In 1997, I retired from the road and went back to finish my career in civil service. Shortly there after, I started writing and singing country music and performed all over the southeast in special concerts and in weddings under the name of Beersy. I now do both Christian and Country.I have written over 150 songs in my career, and I am still writing. My strongest point is my ability to sing a ballad, and I captivate the audience with my several octave voice. I am also a DJ and perform marriages within a 200 mi. radius of Jacksonville, Middleburg, and Orange Park Florida when I am not busy doing something else. In 1995, I wrote a 90,000 word book entitled "Break the Chains of Bondage". This book is a self help book designed to help people start and manage their own business and keep it running, no matter who you are. None of my works are published as of yet, and all of my sales have been the result of my own footwork! At this point in my life, I am enjoying my grandchildren and am looking forward to a slower pace in life, but I will always be singing somewhere!
