Divasonic
Multi-instrumentalist/producer/songwriter Lynda Arnold has been performing and producing as Divasonic since 2000. She bounces back and forth between programming, flute, piano, singing and engineering her sounds and arrangements to mold music that is truly her own.
The sound of Divasonic touches many different genres of music and is not easily categorized. Twisted loops mash with straight grooves and synths combine with classically infused flute and keyboard improvisations. Original lyrics derived from her poetry often touch on spiritual themes and her love drama of the moment. Her voice teaches and teases you, winding around the layered textures and with an attractive rawness. Experimentation is key to the development of the Divasonic sound as well as collaboration and performance with other talented musicians in an attempt to redefine the concept of song.

Changing Wind
Divasonic’s second full-length, Changing Wind, is available online and in stores now. Previous releases are currently available through online retailers such as cdbaby.com.
Changing Wind includes collaborations with many very talented Artists.
Lynda uses Changing Wind more as an outlet for contemplations about relationships, including the ups and downs of “elations, surprises, sensuality, reality, growth, partnership, nurturing, falling in love, and enduring love through its changes.†It also stretches a bit further musically, showing off a stronger jazz influence mixed with stronger soul and pop vibes, all wrapped around the elements Lynda has come to be known for, including drum-and-bass rhythms, experimental percussive sounds, and flute and vocal melodies derived from her own poetry.

Digital Bliss Volume 1
Regen Magazine Review of Digital Bliss Vol. 1 Digital Bliss Vol. 1 Digital Bliss Productions Posted: Wednesday, August 01, 2007 By: Charity VanDeberg Staff Writer For those of us who have been desperately waiting for trip-hop and down-tempo music to make its big comeback, Digital Bliss' first compilation is a highly anticipated gift.Digital Bliss Productions is the brainchild of Divasonic's Lynda Arnold, established to promote the uncelebrated women in the electronic music industry, one which has always been dominated by their better known male counterparts. Each track in the compilation is an example of excellence from independent female producers, musicians, and vocalists hailing from all over the world.
For those of us who have been desperately waiting for trip-hop and down-tempo music to make its big comeback, Digital Bliss' first compilation is a highly anticipated gift. As a collection of 12 mellow, electronic, dance tunes highlighted by stunning female vocals, it couldn't be more perfect. Each song seems to have been carefully handpicked by committee for its mood, vocal and musical attributes, originality, and the artist's storytelling talent. And as listeners, we are the ones to reap the benefits of their meticulous efforts. There isn't enough time to extol the virtues of every amazing treasure on this album. If we discuss the brilliant storytelling in Alu's 'Confessions to the Undertaker,' the ethereal beauty of Return to Mono's 'Give Me Something,' or Loop!Station's PJ Harvey-inspired 'Sweeter,' we would be leaving out the haunting 'Lagoon (Baba)' by Artemis and the politically charged 'Chaos Among Us,' not to mention the other eight wonderful songs. But Digital Bliss Vol. 1 does more than just introduce us to a world of music we may not have found on our own pebble strewn paths; it teaches us a couple of things. We learn that only a woman's voice can sound so absolutely otherworldly and the violin is like the gorgeously wicked older sister to the rowdy electric guitar.

Birth
Multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Lynda Arnold, a.k.a. Divasonic, takes you on her debut journey, 'Birth'. Cutting-edge ethereal electronica littered with rich synth and percussion textures, improvisational instrumentation and spiritual lyrical messages tell of evolution, hope, promise, love and fear. It is a story of coming out; of retaining that special essence of who we are as we travel our chosen path. The Birth album was co-produced with Safar Bake , who, in July 2003, completed his EMI/Virgin/Capitol Middle East album release under the name 'Spiritual Brothers'. The album was re-released by EMI/Virgn Germany in 2004. Divasonic is a featured flute soloist on the track 'Moondance' and also played alto and c flute on other tracks on the album. © 2004 Divasonic Music ASCAP

'GRACE NOTES'
Released on Divasonic's own label Digital Bliss Productions , is a solo piano project completed in the beginning of 2002. Everything starts at the piano for Divasonic...the melody, the chords, the structure, etc. This album is a reflection of those wandering improvisational moments and melody huntings. © 2002 Divasonic Music ASCAP

Review Section:
*********************************URBNET.com Review by Bradley Miller Top 10 Pick - Lynda Arnold is Divasonic, an independent artist who writes, plays, sings, programs and co-produces her own music, which is best described as a unique balance of spiritual and ethereal trip-hop. At times her style is reminiscent of groups like Lamb ('Candy Store') or Poe ('Calm Of The One'), but Arnold's frequent flute injections and subtle drum-n-bass loops keep her in a league of her own. Highlights include the frantically paced 'The Other Side' and masterful instrumental 'Escape', while 'Calling The Fairy' proves to be a schizophrenic drill-n-bass workout. Consider yourself a 'Lucky Star' if you stick around for Birth's unlisted bonus track, Divasonic's Tori Amos-like cover of the Material Girl's classic pop hit.
*********************************Editor's Pick, Download.com San Francisco Bay Area diva--or shall we say 'Divasonic'--adds a touch of swing to the electronic minimalism that flows beautifully from the emotive 4/4 framework of her music. Sophisticated in their dreamy piano chords, drum 'n' bass elements, and mesmerizing vocals, Divasonic's electronic excursions cast a powerful and unforgettable face.
