Let me introduce to you, a fuckin loud family (or loud fuckin' family, as they like to put it themselves) from Breda Suck City called The Gecko Brothers.
And where do these 4 fast drinkin', hard rawking low lifes come from...?
Out of nowhere?
No! Not really.
They're the product of one mama (Annabel) out of four different fathers!
After playing in different bands like Batmobile and Thundermug, they decided to re-unite the family and form The Gecko Brothers.
The choice of which kind of music they we're gonna play was easy because they all shared the love for that good old loud Rawk & Roll music.
And loud it was gonna be.
One of their first shows was so loud that after two songs the boys in blue payed the club a visit to check out what the hell was going on!
During this moment, the rest of the visitors (a bunch of bikers) from the club already ran outside covering their ears with their hands.
The only one left inside was this sixty-year-old, deaf bastard who was shaking his ass (a not too pleasant sight I might add!) to the sound of the beat.
In 2003, they hooked up with the good people of Drunkabilly Records based in Belgium. So the next logical step was to record their debut album.
The camped in The Void studio in Eindhoven Rock City for 8 days to work with Pieter Kloos. br
The brothers saw that they where on the right track and started to play their asses off. They shared the stage with bands like Peter Pan Speedrock, Turbo Ac's, Mad Sin, River Boat Gamblers, Zeke, Horrorpops, Nashville Pussy, Gang Green, Cosmic Psychos, Batmobile, El Quapo Stuntteam, Milwaukee Wildmen, The Riots, 69 Charger, Fury 161, and Speedball Jr. to name just a few.
In 2005 they recorded and released their second album "Demolition of the Rehabilitation" also on Drunkabilly Records. This album received good reviews in the music magazines and on the internetzines.

By the way, we are still looking for a good booking agency. We are open for business baby!!
Stay drunk, stay loud
and add some evil to it while you're at it!
Cheers,
Mo Gecko
