“If you are unsure of who you are then remember this, who you are is not as important, as who you are becoming. Sit down and write your Eulogy. Do it from your heart as though all who loved you were listening and once it is finished it you will have your mission statement. This is the person you want to be, so work toward becoming this person.” Tom
The only secret that you need to know Is the passage of time is a one way flow If you understand, joyously you will grow Or else you will drown in your own sorrow.
From The Rubiayat of Omar Khayyam
.
A DIFFERENCE
The question isn't: "Who am I"?
Rather it is "Who was I"?
This is the person you need to be
The choice is yours
Whether to be a victim of your past
Or the prognosticator of your future
Empower yourself to change
Believe in yourself
And make a difference
.
If you want to be happy with yourself then remember.
Be grateful everyday
Happiness is decision and a habit, you cultivate it
Always tell the truth, because it..s easier to remember
Your character is the sum of who and what you are and that the greatest measure of that character
is how you treat people who cannot do anything for you or to you

One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: "LOVE"
FROM MY NEWEST POEMS TO SOME OF MY OLDEST
THAT PARADISE
The sweetest smile from waiting lips
A touch of her soft fingertips
That stately walk that's heaven sent
Her motion brings my soul torment
Skin so smooth and lovely scent
She melts my heart and leaves me spent
The brightest eyes I've ever seen
Smile down upon her tight blue jeans
And paradise comes into view
That paradise my love is you
SPIDER WEBS
Ah but what are memories
Loose threads of spider webs you see
Dangling freely in the wind
Floating, blowing till they bend
Sometimes I wonder how they rate
Some come hither some come late
But at least they come again
Blowing loosely on the wind
Today they come less often now
With much more effort to endow
But dangling they do
Just without of reach my Boo
Eluding my every pass
To slow the speed of every grasp
For memories like the spider web
The winds of time have made a bed
Broken strands that come to end
Back upon themselves they bend
And the spider calls to me
Let go of all those memories
THE GUEST
When my blue heaven slipped away
Lonely sorrow came to stay
She made a bed right next to me
Where my tears had left a sea
I asked her sweetly would she leave
For it past my time to grieve
She said no and further more
That I sounded like a bore
And as the river touched the sea
Bound to her and never free
The sun was glistening off the dew
For there was nothing I could do
The sky was a deep azure blue
And my heart was heavy too
So I saddled up my boat
Hoping that it wouldn't float
And that the current would be swift
As I cast myself adrift
A lonely heart upon the sea
Sorrow sitting next to me
BLOSSOM
Her every motion so sublime
A fragrant blossom steeped in time
I search and search and never find
That sweet young rose I left behind
Upon the mantel near the shelf
That picture of her with myself
A lonely feeling calling me
Telling me to set it free
"Let it go" I hear it say
Not to spend another day
To dwell without her memory
"Let it go and you'll be free"
Oh sweet surrender were it so
That I could let her memory go
To say goodbye and not look back
And suffer not emotion racked
But the truth won't let me be
Because she meant so much to me
And agonies replace despair
For life can truly be unfair
DREAMING
In my dreams I found true love
Twinkling like the stars above
She was magic wrapped in lace
And had a very special face
The kind that makes you melt withi
n When she lets loose that lovely grin
A body curved beyond compare
And braids across her long dark hair
If I could only take her home
And when she is with me all alone
I would reach and pull her near
To kiss away each lonely tear
And then I would let her know
That I will always love her so
And that I would never leave
Then I awake alone to grieve
EYES
I look into her eyes and see
A mystery staring back at me
They flicker in the soft sweet night
And sparkle with complete delight
Her laugh strikes cords from deep inside
My heart and soul she takes to ride
In moments I call out her name
As if in jest she plays this game
Her skin so fresh, deep chocolate brown
And her curves go round and round
From apple bottom to shapely thigh
Enough to bring a tear to eye
Satin smooth with taste to match
She is the most delightful catch
And what those full lips do to me
Even the angels race to see
CHOCOLATE
Chocolate so soft and light
With lips so full and eyes so bright
Her skin so smooth I hesitate
To kiss and taste and then to mate
A golden glow from deep within
Lights the smile above her chin
Two legs that put on quite a show
I stroke and pet them very slow
With each caress I feel the strain
As though my very soul she drains
A vampire sucking at my heart
Devouring every single part
So rich so smooth that chocolate bar
But on my heart she left a scar
A message that includes this rhyme
To heart and soul this man is mine
<
HER LIGHT
Soft and tender is her light
And it shines so very bright
It lights my path when I?m away
And late at night when we?re at play
A gentle glow that lets me know
That she will always love me so
Such magic in those soft sweet rays
Warms me so many ways
Gives me hope that we will win
And love each other till the end
To touch that light and hold her tight
Softly, gently through the night
CHOICE
What choice? A narrowing of two
And either leaves a heart so blue
Reflecting on the past it seems
On moments spent and broken dreams
A course that's so neatly planned
Now looks Like Custards famed last stand
All that's here has past beyond
And no ones left who can respond
Only stillness and remains
On loves flat and open plains
The death of love and nothing more
Now I must choose to close that door
Or leave it open on the hope
That I'm not just one more dope
A TIME
There was a time when hearts were blind
And love and madness intertwined
A time immortal set to rest
It seemed that it would stand the test
But Mother Nature has a way
Of making folly of our play
It was a simple sort of game
Cheat and deceit was its name
And dishonor had a roll
Believe me they both took their toll
Let down I pondered where to turn
At every corner my heart burned
It bled as though would never stop
The blood that ran was steaming hot
I only prayed that in the end
This heart would find a way to mend
I DREAMED
Kisses raining from the sky
Last night I dreamed that I could fly
Up into your arms I flew
Passion leaping though and through
I dove again into the sun
Singed my wings before I m done
Madness in this heart of stone
I cannot make it all alone
But once again I hear the call
And to wing no fear of falls
I find my way to your embrace
To that bosom plant my face
Then a calm spreads cross the land
It's your caress I understand
Cuddled by one so sweet and fair
Warmed inside that tender lair
POEMS
They come these words
Like water flowing from a stream
Dropping on the rocks below
Or rain falling from the sky above
Splattering on the ground
It's magic or so it seems
A thought translated in a moment to paper
Words spilling on a page
Finding their position
As if each knew where to go
Such a strange thing it seems to me
One that is as hard to understand
As perhaps it is to explain
Maybe unexplainable at best
And yet at times I feel possessed
I know not why they come to me
But I find a peace in what they say
A way to express what lay beneath
Perhaps only in my heart
Or my soul
KISSES
My true love
Sweet love
Set me free
And kiss me
Our mouths as one
Two lips meet
The tongues caress
Our hearts let go
And loves at rest
Such a blissful feel
Oh to believe it's real
Then I look into your eyes
Feel the softness of your thighs
Once again the lips meet
Rapture and passion leap
Suddenly we're filled with bliss
The Awesome power in a kiss
LOVE ABIDES
A memory that moment left behind
The touch so soft it felt divine
Tender was that sweet caress
My love for you I did profess
Full lips waiting mine to kiss
The thought creates a field of bliss
Our warmth comes as if a surge
Rising desires drive us to merge
Then even heaven hesitates
As we pass between its golden gates
Rapture in the morning sun
Sets low at night before were done
Examining each crease and curve
Letting go with no reserve
Then finding something way inside
Deep down below where love abides
EVERYTHING
If everything is everything and if you think it's true
Then what about those Buddhists monks and the Philosophy of BU
They believe that nothing comes from nothing and none of it is real
So while were at it, if they're right why make such a big deal
The way I heard it stated and the thought might make you blue
Is that all of this is done with mirrors and none of it is true
So look me in the eye and for all our sakes
Make a firm decision to both have and eat your cake
For time is not your ally or even a distant friend
And believe me it will rob you before it does you in
Stealing all your thoughts and dreams and all the loves of youth
Leaving you with deep regrets for what you didn't do
For it isn't what you do it's the things you left undone
That leaves a bitter heartache
At the setting of the sun
BEAUTY
A twist of an ankle
And a flash of thigh
Turns a man head
As she goes by
There is something about beauty
That's hard to describe
Its partially feeling
And partially eye
One thing I've noticed
And can't disagree
That true beauty
Is easy to see
She walks with a motion
That sways to and fro
Knows what she's doing
She's truly a pro
Her lips are from heaven
With eyes that appease
A heaven sent woman
Puts you down on your knees
To say she's a 10
Would be telling a lie
She's really a diamond
And quite a rare find
HEART ACHE
So soft a heart
to quick to break
And tears like rain
fall from the ache
Like hail they drop
upon my lap
Pain that sticks
Like maple sap
Then something stirs
from deep inside
A new love
that cannot be denied
The process then
has been revived
The heart begins
To mend inside
And like the phoenix
comes alive
A SCENT OF ROSE
As sweet the scent that is a rose
So tender does her passion flow
All woman with a smile of gold
To melt a heart that seems of stone
Soft and flowing with each stride
As poetic motion, on air she rides
Such beauty simply gliding by
An offer of magic, she implies
Ah to smell that scent of rose
And each day her beauty grows
Lips and eyes, breasts and hair
Just to touch her, if I dared
Trouble is, dreams slip away
Perhaps we'll meet some other day
LOVE SO TRUE
A face that launched a thousand ships
While yours has launched this heart
With love and understanding
We never have to part
To give to one undying love
Is to stop and rise above
All the selfish things we do
That my dear is love so true
SO BEAUTIFUL A HEART
So beautiful a heart so fine
Were I to love would be divine
If only in a whispered breath
We could live beyond our death
For true love knows no bounds
Beneath a mound of solid ground
Of what we have dreams are made
And I my love am not afraid
To say those words you want to hear
To tell you I will always love you dear
And give to you all I possess
But most of all sweet happiness
MY SOUL
When my love sets sail on your ocean so divine
Your heart enthroned as a bow Spirit on this soul of mine
Passions wind cause the waves to rise and fall
Together we shape the sails to carry us safely through the squall
What is in your face my love that makes my heart embrace?
That causes passions to swell and my loving ship to race
We adjust the main and jib and two arms to hold you tight
In the dark we set anchor to keep us safe throughout the night
Next day the sky is sparkling blue Loves wind from West to East
Once again We raise sails that billow bright as on the wind they feast
Love sets the latitude and Longitude of our direction by degree
As our ship of love skips lightly East across the sea
KEEPSAKES
Collecting memories in the night
Be still my heart you'll be alright
But thoughts of you, the way you fare
Are rough and tough for me to bear
The empty spot you left behind
Reminds me once that you were mine
Marks upon the clean white sheets
Make it hard for me to speak
In time these memories will fade
Not to lessen in the morning shade
For never will you leave my mind
Nor will my love for you unwind
Because to me you'll always be
A keepsake that is close to me
Some would say that I am wrong
To keep my love for you so long
But to my soul I know its true
It was right for me to be with you
TELL A TALE OF FISH AND WHALES
Speak of ships, and fish and whales
The time to talk of love that failed
A time, a place, a day away
To tell the tale of love that strayed
In times of old a man once new
Just what his bride was going to do
But Times have changed
And ships have sailed
And many marriages have failed
The fish and whales now disagree
On what each others roles should be
MY SWEET LOVE
When I saw your gentle face,
Held it in my warm embrace.
In you a precious jewel I've found,
To carry me past mortal ground,.
And when you place your hand in mine,
I knew I'd love you for all time,
with mouth so soft and silky too,
Creates desire for loving you.
And when we met at dusk last Night,
Your taste will be my morning light.
The fluids through your body flows,
sweet upon my waiting lips.
It starts to stimulate my soul,
the way you move your hips.
A pounding thrust upon my face,
your thighs commence their warm embrace.
Our bodies ripple each to each;.
there is no need for speech..
As love takes flight unto the night
Passion seeks its sweet delight.
To show in every way it's true,
my sweet love I belong to you
BECAUSE
Late last night while I'm alone
Someone called me on the phone
She didn't say just who she was
When I asked she said "because"
Such a puzzle late at night
Perhaps I didn't get it right
Then she called a second time
I asked her then was it a rhyme
She hesitated as she does
Then she simply said "because"
Now I'm thinking this is weird
Maybe she'll just disappear
But the phone just rang again
Very much to my chagrin
But I decide not to move
To put myself outside the groove
Why you may ask did I pause
All I can say is it's "because"
LOVELESS
Numbness bars this ancient soul
Keeps love from ever being whole
The taste it leaves is gingery
Perhaps it comes from injury
It?s some thing that I cannot see
I don?t know how it came to be
This feeling like a lock, less key
With no real way to set me free
Time should heal this ancient threat
But it hasn?t done so yet
I?m afraid now it will never leave
So here I sit alone to grieve
Once again love passes by
All the while I sit and cry
For loneliness becomes despair
I don?t think that it?s really fair
But I do not make the rules
Trying that is food for fools
So leave me here alone and blue
While I find something else to do
REFLECTIONS
Around the corner, up the bend
Is a place I call the end
It?s a time you see, to take a bow
And perhaps one last curtain call
A moment to reflect on life
Looking back on all the strife
But then there is the love I felt
And all the kindness I was dealt
My children and the joy I had
The way they always called me dad
For them I must now lead the way
And behave for them the way I say
But you my darling and my Dove
I will miss our sweetest love
The way you held me close at night
It filled my heart with sweet delight
To all those who have given me love
And received so much from above
To you I say with all my heart
Take this gratitude through my Art
And let me gracefully depart
