I’ve been pronounced dead four times

About Me

I consider myself one of the last, if not the last major star, to have come out of the old Hollywood studio system. And not just any studio, the top of the heap: MGM. Unfortunately, my personal life has often overshadowed my career, during the course of which I have won two Oscars and was nominated for three more. I'll tell you one thing: You find out who your real friends are when you're involved in a scandal. I may not have had an major roles since the 1970's, but that hasn't slowed me down a bit with all the charity work I do. To put it simply, I have lived a life far more exciting and dramatic than any movie I've ever appeared in and probably most any other movie you could name!
