Dove-Rebecca Sunday, February 18, 2007Please don't let it endDear friends, family and loved ones,I'm here in Paris, and my fabulous husband has offered to post this for me.As most of you know, I'm undergoing a proton therapy treatment to cure my tumor. While I was here, I was greatly inspired to write the poem I'm about to share with you. Before I do, I want you to know what inspired me to write it.I will have to say it was a beautiful conversation that I had with my brother Ron that inspired me and helped me to find the words that my heart was so longing to say. It was not only him, but my children, my husband, my sisters, family and friends who also played a role in its creation. There are so many of you who have inspired me and who have encouraged me to fight to stay alive, and I would like to take this moment to thank each and everyone of you.Please don't be offended if I've personally not named you. There was no ill intentions intended. There are just so many of you that I can't list you all by name. But please know how truly special and loved you are by me.The only thing I ask is that if you decide to share this poem, that you would give credit to me, Rebecca Dove-Scipioni, for its creation.I truly hope you will like it.
