About Me

Hello, my name is Rebecca.I am married and a mother of two wild teens, My daughter Kayla is 17 she loves to dance, listen to music, hang out with her friends and talk on her cell. My son Josh is 15 ; loves to chat, play video games. He is into sports, he plays baseball and is on his schools football team and of course he is very girl crazy. LOL!!Myself : I love the net, paintshop pro, the band Poison and my husband Ludo. Here is a little more about me :I was a teen from the 80's and I truly think that the 80's was the most fantastic time in rock history. There were so many awesome bands and the ones that made it through are still the best bands around. Well! at least this is what I think. Please don't get me wrong. I think there are fab bands from the 60's on up till now, but the ones that are my most loved come from the 80's. I love all the big hair the glammy look and the color pink. My husband Ludo also feels that the 80's was the best in rock. About my husband lets see, my husband is a collector of many things. He collects CD's, action figures, rock t-shirts, cowboy boots and head bands. My husband also is very smart and I would have to say that one of his most sexiest things about him is his mind. Well thats all about me for now. I'll add more when I get more time. Till then, keep on rocking till the sun comes up. Peace and Poison! Rebecca.Layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts

Hello! I wanted to address something here so that everyone knows, why it is that I don't always write back as fast or as often as I should. I suffer from a very rare tumor called chordoma. I started having problems back in 1999, but got really sick about two years ago, where I under went my first surgery. 6 months or so later I got really sick again and had to have another surgery. Now my tumor is back and I am looking at my third surgery. Which worries me. Some of you may not know what a chordoma tumor is. And I'll try to tell you as much as I can, but before I do that, please know I will be offline from July 10th till I return. Hopefully I will also be able to follow my surgery up with the proton beam therapy that I really need to have done. There are loads of risk that go along with this type of therapy like facail paralization or and maybe needing to re-learn motor and physical skills. I am praying that won't happen, but I'll be honest, I am scared! I would like to take this moment to thank everyone of you who are on my list and who want to become myspace friends. Each and everyone of you mean the world to me, so if I haven't said it yet. Thank you for being here and thank you for being myfriend. Hugs to you all. Rebecca. What is a chordoma Chordomas are very rare primary bone tumors that can arise at almost any point along the axis of the spine from the base of the skull to the sacrum and coccyx (tailbone). The incidence of chordoma in the general U.S. population is about 8 per 10,000,000 people. They occur somewhat more often in males than females and, for unknown reasons, are rare in African Americans. Under the microscope, chordoma cells appear to be benign, but because of their location, invasive nature, and recurrence rate, the tumors are considered to be malignant. They arise from cellular remnants of the primitive notochord, which is present in the early embryo. In normal mammalian development, the notochord and substances produced by it are involved in forming the tissues that give rise to vertebrae. Normally, the tissues derived from the notochord disappear after the vertebral bodies have begun forming. However, in a small percentage of people, some tissues from the notochord do not disappear. Rarely, these leftover tissues give rise to chordomas.About one-third of chordomas are found in the region around the clivus. The clivus is a bone in the base of the skull. It is located in front of the brainstem and behind the back of the throat (nasopharynx). Chordomas occur with equal frequency in the skull base, the vertebrae and the sacrococcygeal area towards the bottom of the spine.Symptoms of the presence of chordomas vary with their location and size. Most chordomas occur randomly among the population (sporadic). However, some people develop this tumor as a result of a mutation inherited as an autosomal dominant trait.
