About Me

Check out this live performance of the song 'Life True Form' @ Xinix Nieuwendijk:
Mythlorian - Life True Form Live
Dutch melodic Deathmetal act Mythlorian announces new drummer and guitarist.
It has been a little quiet over the past months, but after the split-up with Tom(drums) we’ve started searching for a new guy behind the drums. We’re very glad to announce death/thrasher Robbert ‘Ploert’ van Walsum, former Brutus member, to join the ranks in bashing the drums. After many auditions the band feels that Robbert is the one to make the next step. He’s a great experienced and enthusiastic guy and his style fits the new road Mythlorian has taken.
Robbert:
‘One of the things that spung out the first time we all played together was the high level of musicianship and the will to challenge each other to a higher level. This makes Mythlorian a world class band and I'm proud to be part of it!’
In his wake, Mythlorian and Mark Bogert decided it would be in everyone’s best interest to split up too. Mark found it difficult to keep motivated and we both agreed it to be best to find someone that fits the band more. Nevertheless Mark is and was a great guy to work with. We achieved some great things in the past two years and we truly thank him for his effort. He will be still a good friend outside Mythlorian and we wish him all the luck and success with his band Penny’s Twisted Flavour.
Mark will be replaced by a close friend of the band; Edwin Vrieselaar (Deviance). Edwin fits the band perfectly in both personality as playing style. And we feel that we can bring Mythlorian to a higher level with him joining us.
Edwin:
‘When Ewout approached me if I would be interested to join Mythlorian, I didn't have to think about it. What I need is a band that combines kickass music with a high level of professionalism and to keep it short: Mythlorian delivers on both’
Boudewijn and Ewout feel really confident in the possibilities these changes bring. So after a long time searching the Myth-engine growls like never before and will commence ravishing the stages from September this year.
Till then we will be working on a shit load of new material for the debut album.
