Born and raised in a jazzfamily in the late sixties, dancing, swimming and singing as the days went by.. My first album I bought was Sweet, the ballroom blitz record - at 6 yrs old, after that it was Abba for some nice danci'n disco years... When i started highschool it was Iron Maiden and Heavy Metal that bashed my brain in my copy-of-a-SonyWalkman-kind-of-musicmachine. And who can forget the wonderful music of the 80's... so fun! After school and all kinds of jobs, i ended up in Malmoe, there i worked in some bars and restaurants. The musicscene was a mix of The Cult, Vanilla Ice, Happy Mondays, KLM, Guns'n Roses and Seal. After a year or so i moved to Stockholm there i lived for some time before i turned my nose towards the northern light & the northern part of sweden - again.Back in Umea, i started my own rock'nroll club called Basement Club. We had over 300 gigs during the years and we also started up "Skull Bar" with some harder rocki'n friends. It was really fun working/promoting music in the 90's. Band's like Candlemass, Refused, Starmarket, Meshuggah, Naglfar, Nocturnal Rites, Clawfinger, Teddybears Sthlm, KSMB, Nasses Dieselknappar and so on, played, worked and had bigup parties at the club. After those rocki'n years i ended up working with a indoormusicfestival for some yrs called Umea Open. The festival is celebrating it's 10:th anniversary 2007. Time fly's by.
