MC Adakid
Let me start by saying a bit about myself. I’ve been through some turbulent times through this thing we call life. I’ve spent to long on the wrong side of the tracks, getting in trouble and paying the consequences, crazy days and messy nights has been the story so far.
Like they say though what you go through makes you who you are, i've learnt from my mistakes and now i'm trying to better myself and move forward, trying to make a positive out of all the negative stuff going on.
On my last prison sentence I started writing rimes about everything I was going through and I worked on my skills. I carried on when I was released and have never stopped writing and practiceing since. Everything I write about is what i’ve been through and what i’ve seen go on around me.
I started making tracks with my friend Dj Wizkid and got a good reaction from the local clubs and friends, so we carried on and made an album.
The album is called 12 Rounds to clear my Chest, that is the theme, i’m clearing my chest, rapping about my issues, struggles and troubles, real life and real situations. Hers a run down of the tracks
Shorty shorty
This is a track about breaking up with a girl. Having a good girl and losing her and not realising what you had till you lost it.
Debt rising
This is a track about being in debt and living above your means. Its also a shot at the companies who lend people money they cant afford to pay back. Its like the average Joe take on it all.
Dear Tony Blair
This one is my take on what its really like in this country, and my view on how he’s done as prime minister.
Same old
This one is about life on street and how the same old things keep going on. It’s a real take on a living that kinder life and how it really is.
Job search
This one is about trying to find work when you’ve got a criminal record, and how you
cant get a second chance in these times.
Messy nights
This one is about me and my boys on a night out. It’s a raw track but its standard procedure in these times and a lot of people are doing it.
Phone frank
This is me admitting my problems and bad habits and phoning the drugs help line to talk it out with frank.

This a track about being in prison, I let you know what its like in there and my experience of it.
12 Rounds
No hook on this just 64 bars strate. Again its about things I’ve been through and the battles and ruckus I’ve had in this life.
Madness
Life’s madness and stress on this one. Saying I need to clear my chest and let you know what’s going on and how my life has been a madness.
What you got
This is a club track about getting you buzz on, losing the attitudes and appreciating the hot girls.
Cold world
This is all the drama and strife and how it can be a cold world. Again taking you through my struggle and all the pain and grief I feel
Like I’ve said I rap about all I’ve been through. I don’t glorify negative things, and i’m the first to tell you that i’m messed up. This album is my life in sound this far.
