LIKWID FYAHThe best way to describe Lady D.U.B.B. & Nuncio is through their name Likwid Fyah. Likwid takes on the meaning of the element liquid [a (1): flowing freely like water a (2): a non-solid or non-gaseous substance with the ability to fill all space of a container]. And Fyah also takes on the meaning of the element fire [a (1): the phenomenon of combustion manifested in light, flame, and heat b (1): burning passion (2): liveliness of imagination: inspiration c (1): a biblical reference to the power or anointing of Jah]. In so many other words Likwid Fyah is able to and takes its Jah inspired message into any genre of music and completely fill and flow in the power of Jah consuming its listeners. The energy they put into their musical composition, lyrics, and even performance is a burst of refreshing energy that fills all space where they're heard down the very soul.Lady D.U.B.B. [Doing the Unbelievable By Believing] joined along with Nuncio [a priestly ambassador of Jah] on a quest to help change what people hear today in music. They believe that positivity is the key in becoming a better person and one step closer to Jah and what better way to bring that message than through lyrics, music, and song. With Lady D.U.B.B.'s strong sense of reggae and afro-beat mixed with Nuncio's pulsating hip-hop and alternative tone, Likwid Fyah was created in the fall of 2005. And since then this Providence Rhode Island based duo have been described as the new-age Fugees with no boundaries. They have performed many shows separately, during their lives, perfecting their craft in the art of music but have elevated themselves at an unbelievable rate since joining together. Likwid Fyah has been mistaken as being a duo for years because of the level of professionalism they put into their performance. Their first public performance was in August 2006 and has been wowing the audiences across the nation. Also in that same month they released their first CD EP entitled "Get Lit" which sold 700 copies on the street in less than 40 days! With this rarely unheard of accomplishment, made between just them two, they continued selling their material with their second CD release entitled "Flood Lights". There is no question about it, Likwid Fyah is all about filling all space with their message of awareness, hope, positivity, and God.
