I like cinema and theatre, I really enjoy reading, and I like walking, although that is not a major player at the moment due to a back injury. I do always enjoy a good night with friends - conversation, movies, poker, whatever.
Well, let's face it, we all want to meet nice people. I know some nice folks, but always happy to meet more. What about you?
Despite the libelous claims of some 'friends' I have a rather varied musical taste - although rap and RnB tend to leave me cold.
Too many to list, and some damn good one made regularly but The Princess Bride is one of the greatest ever made (with The Blues Brothers giving a good run for the money too)!!!!. Everything from Animal House to Fog of War; Blazing Saddles to Kill Bill; Gods and Generals to 3000 Miles to Graceland, V to Henry V. Oh, I have never, never liked any Adam Sandler or Will Ferral movies - they may have appeared in some movies I like, but nothing they have "starred" (please) in. Have you seen something recently you think I would like?
I absolutely hate reality TV - get a life, don't watch some contrived version of it. But there is often something good on the box. Rome was a recent fave.
Again, far too many to name. Reading great stuff all the time. Strongly suggest the following authors:JRR Tolkien (c'mon you got to) L. K. Hamilton David Eddings, Anthony D. Smith (on academic style stuff) C.S. Forester Stephen CoontsReturn to old classics often and with joy.If you have any recommendations pass them along will you? Cheers,
Christopher Reeve (and not for the acting) The chap who stood in front of the Tank at Tiannamen Square - makes my hair stand on end every time, individual bravery personified. My Dad (miss you pop) My Mum (again, you have to really) We need to hear about more heroes I think
