About Me

I am currently attending the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in awesome Scotland! Bring on year 3!!!!! Wooo Hooo!!!! This year marks the halfway point for the vet school career. I am really looking forward to all the fun times to come - the vet ball, the halfway dinner, and learning more vet smarty pants stuff.
I do miss my Paint horses at home, Socks, Gabby, and Rocky. I have had to put my showing on hold while in school across the OCEAN! My new puppy is no longer a puppy, Fern has grown and is a bit of a pain in the butt, I am sure she will turn into a good dog soon. The Border Collie Twyla, and the Lab Lola are also at home safe and sound with the parentals.
Brad the boyfriend and I have made time to tour several castles here in Scotland and took a fabulous trip to Paris! We even got to go and watch the Badminton Horse trials in England! It was so cool. As you can tell, we are having a blast. We feel really blessed. And only 3 more years to soak it all in.

My Interests

I enjoy showing my Paint Horses in the U.S. Gabby is my Trail-WP girl and Socks is the all arounder. He is quite a horse-the Best a girl could ask for in fact. When I am not busy showing at home, I am hanging out with Brad, shopping like most girls, spending time outdoors with my animals or camping with the family. My animals are a big part of my life.

I am currently attending the University of Glasgow and studying Veterinary Medicine. I am living out my dream here in Scotland! With two whole years down and three to go, I will be able to practice medicine in like 3 years. ha ha. So the horse stuff had to put on hold while I get smarter. No Doubt, Daniel Powter, Journey, Kelly Clarkson, and whatever Katie has on her MySpace page. Citizen cope is pretty hot. Sandi Thom says it how it is. Amy Winehouse is a new fav.

Movies:

Princess Bride, Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, the fav Quigley Down Under, Sahara, Wedding Crashers rocks too!The latest edition is Miami Vice, but mainly because Colin Ferrell looks like Brad. :) And lets not forget Seabiscuit, Hildalgo, and Black Beauty. New ones to add, Blades of Glory, Hot Fuzz, and Superbad.

Television:

Lost of course, is there any other show .., so there is another show on...Project Runway! It is awesome! I just keep waiting for them to bring back Dr. Quinn. Now that was a good show. ha ha.

Books:

The only books I have time to read have pictures of dead animals in them or are discussing mutations in the genetic code. ugh. On any given day you will probably find me with my head stuck in one of those. adopt your own virtual pet!
