"These matters of passion and emotion, they are cut of imperfect fabric, no matter what we do. The road we take to the other side of our selfish nature is built on the back of our deepest mistakes!"
Amazingly touching story...
No matter how high the price, NEVER give up on your dreams!
There are people in the world who are there to save you when you need savin',
cover your ass when it needs covering and
are always there when you need someone to lean on!

I pride myself in being fortunate enough to have people like that in my life. You know who you are! I do have my share of wonderful friends. I wouldn't trade them for the world. Some are very old and some are pretty new. I'm always interested in meeting new people (guys and gals) and renewing ties with old friends, as well as possibly exploring something more serious with a GOOD guy. Friends first, always, but I'd like to meet a man strong enough to be a lifetime partner, funny enough to keep my heart healthy laughing, supportive of my every endeavor (goes both ways), and passionate about the important things in life.
I like confidence and brains, but not arrogance. If you're not too proud to practice a wee bit of humility, then I'd probably like you! I like caring people that know how to treat you with respect. Always look me in the eyes when you talk to me. If you are a GOOD man, you must enjoy cuddling, family life, being in the great outdoors, art, holding hands, history, travel, talking about anything on your mind, children, cuddling, entertaining friends, crazy nights out, music, cuddling, animals and cozy nights in. If you're a woman, everything minus the cuddling, holding hands and cozy nights in! :o)
I find that travel brings clarity to your life and I enjoy taking time to breathe in new cultures and the beauty of this world!
If you know how to play the guitar or sing to me while playing the guitar, I promise I will be putty in your hands!!! j/k :o)
Sense of humor is KEY!
Sometimes I think it would be great if guys/relationships/friends came with expiration dates? Then you'd know just how much of yourself you'd be willing to give in advance, instead of giving all your heart and soul to someone that isn't deserving.
I would appreciate a man that is not too scared to show some kind of emotion, but I'm not too fond of moody people. There is a big difference between passion and anger.
A friendship/relationship is about give and take; so if you only know how to take, I'm not your gal. Also, I believe in forever and that there is just one person for everyone, so, if you have no concept of forever or like to juggle multiple women, I'm really not your gal.
I have no need for fair weather friends! If you give up on the people in your life frequently or bail on your loved ones at every bump in the road, NEXT.
I appreciate people that value what is on the inside of a person because ultimately that is the most important thing, what makes you tick! Beauty and status can fade at any moment in life. And titles, well being educated is important in this world, but having a title undoubtedly doesn't make the man!
I know what I want out of life and I'm no longer willing to settle for anything less! If you can't handle an independent woman that is capable of thinking for herself, then just move along little doggie!
Loving someone is helping them to realize their potential!
One can never have too many friends!
I think it's so important to be in love with your best friend! For better or worse, that means something to me! I'm not looking for Mr. Right-Now, but I'm interested in good friends, they are the icing on the cake in life, and I'd certainly consider being swept off my feet by Mr. Right!
Caveat: I'm not looking to get married any time soon, nor am I looking for an "internet relationship" with someone in a distant foreign country. If you're not REAL, unable to tell the truth from a lie, unable to close the closet for all the skeletons falling out, have zero concept of loyalty or need someone to save you financially because you were stupid and let some younger woman take all your money and run, please don't message me.
It's really a shame that some people in this world can't just download character off the Internet!
You'll have to save yourself before you can be anything to anyone else!
I enjoy watching movies in the theater. I like comedy, drama, romance, documentary types, non-traditional, foreign, not a big fan of scary movies. Some of my faves are Bridget Jones, Love Actually, Shawshank Redemption, Raising Arizona, Meet the Parents, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Out of Africa, Lonesome Dove, Devil's Advocate, Tommy Boy, The Bone Collector, Urban Cowboy, Best in Show, The Notebook, Chocolat, A Christmas Story, Amelie, Disneys, Fight Club, Sense and Sensibility, Star Wars (of course!), Jack Ass (fuggin idiots), Patch Adams, The Princess Bride, Circle of Friends, Ghost, Pixars, etc. 40-yr Old Virgin (hilarious), Corpse Bride (dark), March of the Penguins (amazing), Wallace and Gromit (sucked), Dreamer (inspiring), Brokeback (did any cowboys watch that? lol). Chronicles of Narnia was good, some great cinematography! Walk the Line was great! In Her Shoes, another good one! Devil Wears Prada, makes you appreciate following your heart and your dreams in life! Open Season, so cute! Loved the Scottish squirrel. The Last Kiss, really enjoyed it. Good story line in that mistakes can be corrected! Plus, I got my Zach fix! Blood Diamond was great. Amazing twist. My sister was in the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone, so that hit home for her. 300, amazing filming, great action with a rather large side of blood! I'll watch anything, so long as it doesn't suck!
If you can make a girl laugh, you can make her do anything!

THAT'S HOT!
That's HOT too!
I'm not allowed to read anything for fun at this point in my life! Only textbooks and medical articles...
My grandfather. He lived to be 104 yrs old. He was a scholar, a farmer, a poet, a teacher and a soldier in WWI. They just don't make em like that anymore...
And my heroes have always been cowboys!
