Contact Table by GDG RequestsPeople I have enough in common with to keep it interesting and enough different to keep it interesting. If you're a nice person who likes to laugh, sing 80's lyrics, and knows the meaning of "I gotta have more cowbell", then we'll probably get along just fine ;-)
The short list: HUGE soft spot for 80s new wave and rock so I can't even begin to list all of those. Billy Joel. Heart. Bram Stokers Dracula Soundtrack. Journey! (hell yes) U2. GnR. Queensryche. Bram Stoker's Dracula. The Princess Bride. Underworld (Yeah you heard me. Interspecies dating is hot.) Sense and Sensibility because I want to believe there is a Colonel Brandon. Austin Powers. LOTR but Two Towers is my favorite. Pirates for sheer entertainment value and eye candy. Gone in Sixty Seconds. Indiana Jones. Star Wars. The Goonies. The Breakfast Club. Labyrinth. Legend. Beetlejuice. (I'm an obvious product of my generation...) The Wizard of Oz (The reason for my penchant for red shoes). Anything Peter Pan. Alice in Wonderland. Moonstruck for one scene alone and not the one you think. Any movie with Audrey Hepburn, Gene Kelly, Judy Garland.
Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations is great. SNL, especially past casts. "I gotta fever and the only prescription is more cowbell." Best skit ever. Reruns of Scrubs and Friends are good for a laugh. Hmmm, seems I have a sarcasm and humor theme. Oh, oh I LOVE watching VH1's "I love the 80s"! (and the 70s. Ok, and the 90s too) Thankfully those aren't on very often.Growing up I loved the Muppets, Addams Family, The Munsters, Bewitched and... Knight Rider. Does that make me a dork? Yes. Yes it does. But Kitt was such a bad ass ;)
My World Atlas. The Red Tent. Sense and Sensibility. HP series. Twilight series (more inter-species dating). Phantom of the Opera. Wicked: The Life & Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. Poetry. I like to read song lyrics too. I have a more comprehensive list on Facebook.
My mom. My best friend Sooz. Moderate minded people who understand that there is often more than one valid viewpoint and understand the concept that perception is reality. ..
