About Me

Um...hey...is this thing on? (tap tap). Ahem. Ok...I'm all about art, music, and most importantly...having a good laugh and a good time. A sense of humor is one of the most important things one can have...you've got to be able to laugh at yourself, too. I grew up on SNL, Monty Python, and the Simpsons, so one can imagine the silliness I can get into.
I'd say I'm really easygoing/laid back; I tend to be the calm "mediator" when issues arise. I'm very patient and tolerant...up to a point. Life is far to short to put up with rude, thoughtless, or obnoxious miscreants. I think that one should surround themselves with really great people, and I'm fortunate to have some of the best friends a guy could have! (you know who you are) I'm told I'm very focused and as far as music and work (art/design) goes...a bit of a perfectionist maybe...but I have a pretty relaxed attitude towards just about anything else. Also, I love to travel and do stuff outdoors like hiking and camping.
I'm excited these days about my band, Dead Air Radio (shameless plug). We had a great year in 2007 and hope to kick more rear end this year. We finished and released our sophomore album, "Signal To Noise Ratio", to critical acclaim, were named 2nd most requested local band on 102.9's The Local Buzz show, were nominated for Best Guitarists, Best Percussion, Best Metal Band, and Song of The Year (Immaculate Rhapsody), opened up for major bands like Five Finger Death Punch and Black Stone Cherry, and on and on. Good times.

My Interests

I'm very passionate about music and art and can't imagine living without either! I enjoy listening to music, practicing, writing, performing and playing guitar in my band, Dead Air Radio . I'm always striving to take my music and art to the next level while still goofing off and having fun with it. Woo-hoo!
On my arty side: drawing, painting, etching, silkscreening, graphic design, web design, illustration, and appreciating art through books, museums or travel.
Aside from music and art, I like reading, hiking, camping, biking, cooking, travel, and making friends laugh.

I'd like to meet:

Friendly folks with a good personality and sense of humor. Intelligence, honesty, passion, and a distaste for the mundane a plus. (Last statement Cheese Rating: 9.3 on the Velveeta Scale...sweet!)
