I am here for Friends

About Me

Rock journalist for Imperiumi.net and RockUnited.com (ex- Aor-Europe) magazines, occasionally for dive mags and whatever comes along, occasional rock dj too. A nature loving hippie at heart, music being my life supporting entity!

NOTE FOR BANDS AND RECORD LABELS: Please send your stuff for review to my address at www.rockunited.com. I don't review online stuff and most likely WON'T note you through this site, unless you only want to be my friend.

My Interests

Recreational and technical scuba diving (a complete wreck and cave addict), travelling, music, animals, sports, movies, collecting stuff. Dreaming about diving in Antarctica and travelling the whole world, saving the pandas, tigers, polar bears and the seals from global warming and sealpuppies of Canada from getting clubbed to death for their fur for mens vanity...

I'd like to meet:

Good people. Had my share of bad ones.

Music:

Aor, 80's metal, hard rock, progressive, classic rock, most metal.

Movies:

Almost everything goes, though war flicks to certain extent. Faves; horror, sci-fi, fantasy and cartoons=)

Television:

National Geographic, Animal Planet, VH1, most series from the 80's, Heroes, Lost, The Simpsons, That 70's Show, Scrubs, most travel/animal/music- and scuba dive programs, documents about anything, history, science...

Books:

Don't have time to read much anymore, but the old faves are still good (mostly horror and animal stories); The Neverending Story (Michael Ende), old Stephen King, The Hotel New Hampshire (John Irving), Winter's Tale (Mark Helprin), Bim Mustakorva (Gavriil Trojepolski), The Wild Dog Of Central Park (Paul Wilkes), Watership Down (Richard Adams), among so many other animal and other books!

Heroes:

Jacques Cousteau, Anja Eerikäinen and Jane Goodall at least. Not heroes really, but Johnny Depp, Bruce Campbell and Steve Buscemi are great actors, among many others.
