Uncompromising hard rock defined Dogfight's music. Blending their diverse musical influences, Dogfight created strong, memorable, intensely emotional songs. The band's live performance was equally as powerful, physical, and intense.
On August 31, 2004, DOGFIGHT released their latest studio album "STANDING STILL". The 8 song EP offers a true Active Rock perspective from many different angles. " We wanted to make a record that would show our fans how deep and diverse we really are", states bassist Mike Querci. The title track "Standing Still" quickly received major airplay both locally and nationally. The song was a top 10 hit for 6 consecutive weeks, spending three weeks at .. 1 on Music Choice. "Standing Still" was also featured 3 weeks in a row on the nationally syndicated show Hard Drive with Lou Brutus and ESPN licensed the tune to use on their highlight reels as well.
As a result of their hard work, large fan base, great live performance, and soaring cd sales, Dogfight has been honored to open for many national acts that come through the New England area: Disturbed, Staind, Puddle of Mudd, Papa Roach, Drowning Pool, Fuel, Sevendust, Static-X, Dope, Non Point, Powerman 5000, Mushroomhead, Noise Therapy, Kitty, Ra, Double Drive, Luna Coil and many many more.
