I LOVE ALANA :)My name is Dave and I currently reside in the Boston area. I currently attend Merrimack College and I am seeking a business degree. My family comes from a strong musical background. My father was in several bands during the 70s (The Charge, Easy Action, The New Models, Stage Fright (Long View Farms Recording), etc.) and played all over the Boston circuit and caught major attention from the radio station WCOZ (now 104.1 WBCN). Easy Action was scouted by a NY manager which landed them a close deal with Columbia/Sony Records. My father was fortunate enough to share the stage and become good friends with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry from Aerosmith. Growing up in the same neighborhoods of Massachusetts .. my father would jam with Dave Robinson (Drummer) & Benjamin Orr (Bassist - RIP) of The Cars. My father's band would later go on to open for The Cars at The Paradise the night they signed a legendary deal with Elektra/WEA. Guitarist, Casey Linstrom in The New Models was called upon by Ric O'Casek of The Cars to record on his solo album in LA .. they would later play a few arena shows to support the album. My uncle would later go on to form a band by the name of The BOyz which included Dave's brother, Paul Robinson on drums. Fast forward like 20/30 years later .. I formed APATHETIQ in late 2004. ApathetiQ is on a sure path to success .. we're all ready to take on music as a full-time career. We have LA/NY management by the name of PCM Live Entertainment Management and have worked with many great people in the industry. Our first break came when Dan Hartwell of 3D Entertainment/Clear Channel (Live Nation) scouted us at a club in Worcester, MA .. the next week ApathetiQ would find themselves performing and opening for several National Artists on a stage in front of 15,000+ people.
