Robert McCowan was born in Ventura, California and grew up in a family were music was daily activity in his household. Since he was young, he has watched his family members sing and play instruments and recalls the best memories of his childhood sitting around with his family members harmonizing songs after a holiday meal. He says as a result of these fond memories he couldn’t help to make music a part of his life.Singer/Songwriter, Robert McCowan enjoys writing and singing music that moves the soul. He believes that his music is unlike most music today and hopes his unique style brings inspiration to his listeners. He enjoys the challenge of writing music and hopes that his listeners can relate to the life’s challenges that he shares in his music. He wants his music to inspire listeners to always keep pushing forward in spite of challenges that arise in life and never let anything stop them from living life to its fullest.Robert has been motivated to pursue his dream and passion for music by his family. He feels that his family has provided him with the love, support, and motivation that he needed to reach for his dreams and push pass any obstacles that come with breaking into the music industry brings.His ultimate goal is that his music be heard all over the world and be recognized as a great artist.
