Elektromaniaks aka DJ Jibé and DJ Damien played solo at first. At this time, Jibé was definitely a techno Dj and Damien played exclusively house music.
Becoming together residents DJ of the Masala's parties, they began in 2003 to rock the dancefloor with house music influenced by afro, latino and electro. They have been residents DJ of these avant-garde parties whose aim was to create a fusion between the clubbing and artistic worlds.
This period allowed them to play in more important bars and clubs such as La Bodega, Le Ric’s Boat, Le Disque au Bar, Le Dali’s Bar, Le Small, L’Athanor Studio, Le Milk Club, @Dock, Kultur Café, Fuse…
They decided in November 2005 to launch their own party label. There was born the ELEKTROVILLAGE concept, with its Internet website www.elektrovillage.over-blog.com and its PHONOTHERAPY parties, in order to play their music and to organize intimates and grooving parties in Bruxelles. This concept was also motivated by the will to promote young talents. At this time they became together the DJ duo now known as "the Elektromaniaks". The music they play is definitively more electronic, less acoustic than before and maybe more underground. It is an explosive mix between Electro house and minimal techno.
With the success of Phonotherapy, Elektromaniaks began to play in lot of parties & Club in Belgium. (NEMO, Quality Beats, United Elektro, Bar Code, Dali's, Wax Club, Les Ardentes festival, Soundstation, Bunker, Ric's Boat…). Recently they have also launched the Phonotherapy parties in Poland @ The Estravaganza with the help of Dj Ente in Poznan.
