About Me
Back in 1999, this 33 years old DJ started by creating the Acoustix Flavour Org with artists from different backgrounds. Laurent Acoustix started by being resident DJ at the Pablo Discobar & Khnopff and has since, played positive electronic music.
Since then, he has been playing at different Clubs such as La Rocca, Milk club, Bataclan(Paris), Wax club, Mirano ,La Terrassa(Paris) ,Km5(Ibiza), Maxim's(Paris), Bataclan, Stereo Sushi, Techno Parade, Pk2(Ibiza), Dalis Bar, Tavernier... along side with DJs such as Murvin Jay, Robert Owens, Geoffroy, Paco, Fafa Monteco, Cozzy Mozzy, Carl Craig ,Serge Santiago, The Glimmers, Prince off, Shit Robot, Thiefschwartz, Jef K, Prinz, Jean Vanesse Aka Spirit Catcher, Riton, Prinz, Bamboola Prod...
This is with Melocotam that Laurent starts developing his artistic skills by playing as DJ and live musician in most of the biggest Belgium summer festivals such as Couleur Caf.., Dour, Nandrin, MarktRock,..
In 2003, he has been working on a new musical project - Free Sofa group created with Regis and Sandra Ferretti trip-pop and house Style Live shows - They wrote and produced a new album.
Since 2004, resident and organiser, with DJ Matieu (Food, Get Down) also playing together and known under Duo Deluxe at Get Down Tonight! In 2005, new association with DJs Gil & Samy(Cosmopolitan).
Today, Laurent is working on a brand new concept called Trafik Collektiv.
Laurent is organising good independent parties in Brussels and proves to be good in Production & Remix
Belgium based WAN O aka Philip Morgan lewis & Laurent Acoustix mixes vocals, twisted organic means and catchy melodies to produce music and videos!
The first of these tracks "BIKINI" brings out a fresh new organic sound with a funky twist.
The kick drum used by Wan 0 on this, is a cushion from the Luxor Bazaar, the snare drum is a staple machine and many funny toys and props were used to record ..Bikini... Philip..s funky vocals and the fresh attitude of the track create a unique and catchy atmosphere already supported by many Dj..s around the world. The video shot live at Trafik studio shows many of their recording techniques and their true ability to entertain!
The Thomas Sari ..raise the dial.. remix brings out a deep funky elektro sound speedin.. up a bit and adding versatility to this first release.
