Doris La Trine - a comedic physical burlesque performer, has staged her worked in & out of the UK at many of the top burlesque and cabaret venues. She is also is one of the crazy and adorable Laundrettas....along with Pearl, Ruby, Faux, Christina,....Doris is best known with her perfroming partner - her pink latrine - in the burlesque & surreal cabaret circuit.
She has performed at Duckie's & Vauxeville at The Vauxhall Tavern, The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh with Lily White & The Whoopee Club, The Rembrant for Ministry of Burlesque, Court Yard Theatre, BAC,The Flash Monkey at Cafe De Paris, The Cochrane Theatre, the Edinburgh Festival, Belltable Arts Festival,Limerick, Tassle Club, Dublin, The Kit Kat Club as well as Bestival, Electric Picnic, Glastonbury, Lost Vagueness, Electric Picnic, The Love Box, Thames Festival with her Laundretta Sisters....and infact, Doris made her debut appearance on BBC3 with Mother Pearl from Laundrettas in 2005 and can be seen on the recent Glastonbury Documentary film that has just been released - relaxing with her old toilet.Doris is also training in static trapezer and is looking for a long toilet chain for her toilet performance.There is also Dirty Doris who is touring her new piece, Birth Of A Porn Star ;-)She also comperes as well as tours her own 10-15 minute comedy cabaret toilet act.
