About Me

Well...talk about myself? No! I couldn't. I haven't even prepared anything. What? Well..if you insist.....I play bass. I also co-founded a GREAT indie label - Cheap Lullaby Records with 2 dear friends, Randy Wooten and Joe Ross. The label has some AMAZING artists and bands...you can go to www.cheaplullaby.com to find out more. If you want to pitch your music to the label go to the site and put your info on the message board. We will see it and listen, I promise. That's the best way.As for me...like I said, I play bass and produce music. I play in The BoDeans...Kenny Aronoff plays drums, Bukka Allen plays organ and accordion and the band kicks. I also played in Josh Groban's band with some good friends for 5 years...life is good. I've had the pleasure of performing and / or recording with Zachary Provost, Kyler England, Bela Fleck, Corrinne May, Elton John, The Bloody Lovelies, David Foster, The Weepies, John Williams, The Atomic Sherpas, Lapdog, Andrea Corr (from The Corrs) The Downbeats, The BoDeans, Vertical Horizon, Marty Walsh, Natalie Cole, Five For Fighting, Sylvie Lewis, Maia Sharp, Ruby Amanfu, Paul Freeman, Judith Owen, Cherry Suede, Joanna, Dian Diaz, Antonio Sol, Angie Stone, Adrianne, Jason Nesmith and Lili Hayden.Television appearances include Good Morning America, The American Music Awards, ESPN's Cold Pizza, Regis and Kelly, The Today Show, The World Music Awards, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, The View, Ellen, Rosie, Sharon Osbourne Show, AOL Sessions, AOL Spotlight, Live at Abbey Road and PBS. Recent live radio performances include the BBC 2 "Friday Night is Music Night" live in London, and WLTW in New York City. That's enough about me - too much really.

Influences: Me??? Well...Let's see. I try to eat right, work out, you know. I like sunsets and love a good Grisham. I like flowers on my table and porn stars on my couch. I like to drink. I mean really, really drink. I don't smoke but I would consider it for the right girl... just being honest here. That's what this is for, right? I like to burn things too. Not living things, usually. But I must confess as a child I did enjoy burning caterpillars with a magnifying glass. And well, I probably still would if I could just find the time. Damn...there's never enough time for the good stuff anymore. Life's simple pleasures, if you know what I mean...Good food, fast cars, breaking stuff that doesn't belong to you, dining and dashing. You know what I mean. You've done it too, right? Hello? Is anyone out there? Oh this is for my influences? Right, Umm. Beatles, Bodeans, BellRays, Bob Dylan, Bob Barker, Bloody Lovelies, Bazooka, Babes and Buffoons, Blondie, Billy Preston, Bananarama, Billy Joel, Buddy Holly, Beautiful Bollocks, Bud Powel, Bird, Beastie Boys, Bootylicious, Beth Hart, Barenaked Ladies, Beck, Brian Wilson, Ben Folds Five and other fine creative entities that begin with the letter B...but only the letter B. Except David Cross, I like him too.
