Originally from southern Connecticut, Sean Tracy is a Graduate of Ithaca College with a B.A. in Biology and a diverse musical background. After several years of formal training on piano, voice, clarinet, and trumpet, Sean decided to take his musical education into his own hands.
As a self-taught guitarist, bassist, and a skilled singer/songwriter, Sean has played in a diverse array of bands at many different types of venues. His driving acoustic rock sound coupled with passionate lyrics has earned Sean a devoted local following in both upstate NY and around CT. As one of many post-graduate lost youths, Sean struck out from home in search of his own path. Nashville, TN was one of the only locations in the world that could offer a dual career for a songwriter with experience in the medical sciences. As a Research Assistant at the Vanderbilt University Cancer Center, Sean is now free to explore all of the opportunities Music City has to offer.
