About Me

Whatever the Weather is a unification of ideas, styles, and cultures. Having started life promoting events at The Rhythm Factory in London, we began putting out small releases and mixtapes including Fog Horn Vol. 1 that featured artists including One Self, Breakage, Rhyme Asylum, and Sage Francis. In 2006, we made a move up North to the lovely city of Manchester, which is now our home. We're still finding out feet in the scene, and are involved with loads of different activities including various events. From jazz to jungle, you'll find it all at one of our shows. Previous guests have included the likes of Breakage, Finley Quaye, Dr Syntax & Stig, Jenna G, Rhyme Asylum, The Iration Steppas and many more. We are also lucky enough to have an awesome bunch of passionate and highly talented residents including Suspect, Timber, Darkai, CBD, Illiano and Amure. We are always up for hearing from new people, so get in touch if you feel the need. Keep your eyes peeled for new developments, as we have a lot of activity planned for 2008/ 2009 including some of the dirtiest raves you're ever likely to attend.

Sounds Like: The oh-so jubilant slurps of your mildly-racist sweet-toothed Grandpa tucking into a fresh pack of worthers originals whilst watching a scantilly-clad float-baring David Hasselhoff submerge beneath treatourous twenty-foot waves to save a drowning disabled child with a super-human capacity for memorising hollyoaks scripts from a pack of highly aggressive gay sharks possessed by the spirit of Jeremy Beadle's evil micro-hand after a fracas on a weekend break in Butlins with the hairy mineons of Kriss Akabusi; the Devil's prostitute... Played through the most tonking sound system complete with a light show that puts the 'Big Bang' to shame. Bo!This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5
