James has always had a passion for music. At 15, knowing he wanted to take this passion further, he saved up and bought decks. Being musical, it was not long before he had picked up the basics and was hungry to learn more advanced skills. |-----------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------|James
obtained a distinction in his Higher National Diploma in DJ Skills at the prestigious Vestax DJ Academy at ACM. He was taught by top DJs from various fields and has also received personal master classes from artists like DJ Jazzy Jeff, breakbeat legends Hybrid and Atomic Hooligan. |-----------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------|After
this he moved to Manchester and has steadily built himself a reputation as a DJ who's there to entertain the crowd not educate them. Mixing across a range of styles, James has a roughly equal amount of records in 3 big subgenres of drum n bass; Jump up, Techstep and Liquid. This allows for very diverse and creative sets. |-----------------------------------------------------------

g learned music production as part of his course at the Vestax Academy, James has been producing on and off (mainly off due to time constrainsts) since late 2003. Since saving up and buying Logic 7, James has started to take his DnB production a little more seriously and is hoping to finish a tune he's completely happy with within the next year. |-----------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------|Since
moving to Manchester, James has played many nights including Metropolis, Platoon, Hectic Harmoniz, Hit&Run, Oh My God, Soundscape, Daylight Robbery, Pangaea, Shattered, Blimp, Belly of the Beast, Drum in the Bassment, Shindig, Rinsed and Wednesday Underground and is setting up his own night, RELOAD, with top Manc MC Skeez. He has also had the pleasure of being on the same line up as some of the scene's biggest players: Pendulum, Nicky Blackmarket, Mampi Swift, G Dub, Clipz, Ed Rush, Dillinja, Hazard, Craze, Baron, Brockie, Nu:Tone, Kubiks & Lomax, Noisia, John B, Drumsound, Simon Bassline Smith, Cyantific, MC Eksman, Woodpacka, TC1 & Stress Level, Jordan V, Modified Motion, Sappo, Silver, Prophecy and Epoc, as well as non-dnb heavy hitters Tim Westwood, Lethal Bizzle, Evil Nine, Breakfastaz, Justice and Simian, Surreal Knowledge and Crew 82.
