I'd like to meet some new friends, always! Anyway, like I said, I'm looking to meet new people or maybe some of the old ones who lost touch from school and stuff. I'd also like to meet some of the people I listen to on Air America, but in particular, I love Al Franken, Randi Rhodes, Thom Hartman, Mark Riley, Bill Press, the guys on Minnesota Matters, Stephanie Miller, Rachael Maddow and really anyone else EXCEPT Laura Flanders and Louise Sunden. It's just that Louise Sunden's show is boring and Laura Flanders just doesn't appeal to me as a personality. It's nothing personal, and I embrace all liberals, the shows just aren't for me."And though I'm not a great romancer, I know that I'm bound to answer when you propose, Anything Goes!"
I dislike most things modern, I have an especially warm place for 20's-40's jazz, betty hutton, the Andrews sisters, Cole Porter, and such... My exception to the anti-modern rule is Lily Allen. I have her album, and I love about 80% of it. When's the last time you've loved 80% of any album?
I LOVE movies, mostly comedy and musical with few exception.

EITHER: Cartoon Network's adult swim feature OR Educational PBS, Discovery, History, TLC, Science, HGTV. OR Star Trek (Voyager or Next Generation).
My favorites currently that I've read lately: "The Good Doctor" by Wesley Clarkson [About Harold "Fred" Shipman, the biggest serial killer in British history, a doctor that murdered his patients] "When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?" by George Carlin [A humourous look at the world about us] "Napalm and Silly Putty" by George Carlin [Also a humourous look at the world around us, but "Pork Chops" is better] "Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them" by Al Franken [a funny look at the Right Wing] "The Truth (with Jokes)" by Al Franken [a funny look at the left wing] "The First Wives Club" By Olivia Goldsmith [Yet another book they fucked up as a movie. Totally different, and the book is WAY better] "On Leaving Charleston" By Alexandra Ripley [part of a trilogy I haven't read the rest of. I loved the fact that it's a period piece, and a lot of it is set in the 20's] I also have two books by Dan Savage that I loved but I do not recall the titles. I also have an Urban Legends Reference Book by Jan Harold Brunvand.
IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER: Jamie Graham Also, Alyce Meyers, Sheila Wong, Nina VanHorne, Lois Griffin, Roseanne, Seth Green, Peg Bundy, Leela, Fry, Bender, Professor, Morel Orel, Tom Tucker, Glen Quagmire, Greased up Deaf Guy, Kool Aid, Adam West, Diane Simmons, and then there's the old guy from Family Guy. And Joan Blondell (extra points to anyone who can name even one film she was in, besides James and Ed, because they would probably know, in fact I know James knows). I also love the Andrews Sisters, although my favorite was always Maxene. She was the bravest, she married and divorced a jew during the second world war. And she was ALWAYS the hottest, even now, she's probably hotter than Patty, and she's been dead for over ten years!! And Betty Hutton. It takes a lot of courage to stumble through life so drunk like that. Honestly, I'm amazed she didn't fall apart and die like a lot of other hollywood drunks did. Kudos to her! (Update, Betty Hutton died in March at the age of 86. Limited bio on her (and countless others) is available at nndb.com, as in the Notable Names DataBase) Also, and not as an afterthought or anything, I absolutely LOVE my best friend James Blomberg. He's the salt of the earth, he's my favorite, he has done so much for me, for my development as a person, it's unreal. There are no words at all. I can't wait to move in with him again, and I love him so much (in that way that friends are... not romantic in the slightest).
