About Me

What I've Nooz'd

What I've Blogged

I spend most of my time in San Francisco or the Seacoast area of New Hampshire (about halfway between Boston and Portland, ME).
I like to meet interesting people... and by interesting, I mean articulate and thoughtful. I'm not into partying. I'm not looking for a date. So I'm not adding you if you send me a message riddled with grammatical errors that doesn't actually have any real content to it. I am not unconditionally opposed to adding bands to my friends list, but I only add them if I like their music. If you don't see any of your influences in the music section of my profile, I probably won't like your music.
I have taken the Myers-Briggs personality test too many times to count. And the only thing I have found is that I am always an "I." I'm usually an "N" and whether I'm "T" or "F" and "P" or "J" really depends on my mood the day I'm taking the test. So let's call me INTJ , since that is the most common result I've gotten.
I tend to look on the bright side of things. I'm not a Pollyanna, but I do try to find the silver lining whenever I can. Ultimately, I look at life as a learning experience and even the parts that suck are still good as long as they can teach me something.

My Interests

Swimming, yoga, crossword puzzles (recently got hooked on sudoku ), scrabble, entrepreneurship, food (in an Epicurean kind of way), teaching - I'm not a school teacher, but I really enjoyed being a swim instructor and corporate trainer in earlier times in my life, and I still enjoy helping people learn something new, learning - I've spent a lot of time in school, because I really like it. I'm not in school anymore, but I still like to listen to lectures on podcasts or from the Teaching Company
