About Me

No band, just spacey. No loops xcept for drum machines. Live instruments; guitar, bass, keys, sitar, 'ud, pipa, saz, field recordings, some virtual instruments :) Click on lyrics to any song and you'll find production notes and co-conspirators. As a guitarist, I can be found contributing to reggae bands Legalizer, Dakeye, Jah-Bone, Afro-Brasilian Samba Reggae group Prakantar, Gabe Lackner, random hip hop, rock, & funk conspiracies like the UJB as well as the Shaun Oster Jazz Quartet. All of this live in the 805 & beyond. I also record with xtended family; Scorpion, Caboose, DJ Jra, Soledad, Bacey, & Shaunelle White. Besides the musical projects I am personally involved with, I have had the fortune of working with singers Glen Washington, Gyptian, Eek-A-Mouse, as well as Andrew Bees of Black Uhuru. Numerous gigs with groups as opening acts for Burning Spear, KRS-One, Michael Rose, Culture, Israel Vibration, Earl Chinna Smith & Ras Michael, and the Roots. Available for music production, recording and performance. Check out the Gentleman video "Different Places" with Spacey and his bredren Scorpion, E, Jah Mex, and Cedric in the band.Different Places (Another Intensity)

Ornette wins the Pulitzer

Ornette Coleman was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for music this year, which is nice to know. If you've heard the man's music, it is hard not to be engaged directly with feelings of any kind toward what...
