NiKKO

Born in London, England, Nikko grew up all over The U.K, The Netherlands, and The U.S. Her musical ambitions stemming from a long family history of great musicianship. Nikko began modelling at 2 years old where she fell in love with the camera. Her early work included a campaign for 'Hennies & Mauritz' (now H&M), Mothercare Magazine, and the starring role in Jonathan Porrit's 'Save The Earth' film featuring Desmond Tutu. Life as a mixed only child to a single parent was more than eventful. Moving from country to country and school to school forced her to create her own identity and entertain herself when there was no one familiar around. She began recording herself making up songs and stories and wrote her first song at the age of 6. "I've been through a lot more than most people my age and still have a long way to go. I thank my mother for showing me so many different parts of life at such a young age," She is speaking on a life that she is currently writing about in her Autobiography that she hopes to publish and release a movie of. "Sometimes I wonder if that's my real dream [releasing the book and movie]. Of course I'm a Capricorn so I love luxury, but I am more driven by setting a goal and reaching it that making a ton of money. I know anything is possible and I want to remind people of that." Since writing her first song, she has shared the stage with many industry greats including performing "I Will Always Love You" with David Foster at the young age of 16 and opening up shows for KRS-ONE at 17. In the Summer of 2006, she appeared on NBC's talent showcase "STAR TOMORROW" with David Foster and Travis Barker and made it through to the final 25. Nikko has since then teamed up with producers Ddot (Kelly Rowland, Game, Dru Hill, Aftermath), Jeanius (Damizza, Hi-Tek), Cisco Adler (Whitestarr, Mickey Avalon), Shwayze (Lisa D'Amato), Alfonzo and more to create great music as well as write for other artists. Her song "Not The Only One" is featured on the new release from Facilitator Films "Norah's Hair Salon II" Nikko prides herself on being honest in her songwriting and continues to write from the heart. She is currently working on her Album and writing for new and current mainstream Artists.
