The Replicas are a powerful, melodic 3 piece band from Cornwall, England
Originally a five piece Ska Punk band , they have streamlined their sound to accommodate the new line up, and have impressed many with their energetic live shows.
Early in 2007 The Replicas were named Runners Up in the Best Newcomer category at the Cornish Live Music Awards and they were also voted Runners Up in a National Online Battle of the Bands competition run by Bandwagon.co.uk.
The band have been busy writing new material, which has been introduced into their live set, and in early January 2008 The Replicas will be recorded with Dare Mason (who has worked with Prince and Paul McCartney among many others ) and these new songs will then be posted on this profile.
