Tha Low TV is a thirty minute music video show with the hottest give-a-ways, contests and interviews. Tha Low is the brainchild of Pam ‘Kofee’ Greer, it was developed in 2004 to bridge the gap between commercial and underground artist. The mission is to bring the streets to the industry and return the industry to the streets. Most of all we promote thought and empower our youth. Along side Kofee is indie director Kris ‘LKD’ Dawson to help bring the artistic vision to the screen. In the first season we release eight hot new shows and two DVDs, making Tha Low a force to be reckoned with.
Come 2005, Kenneth Roberts and Michael ‘Midnite’ Hubbard was added as freelance producers expanding Tha Low’s content. Last but definitely not least, Shantease ‘Big Sexy’ Cartman was added as a host giving Tha Low a commercial appeal with an indie feel. Tha Low has had the pleasure of interviewing; Minnesota Viking’s Napoleon Harris, Chicago Bear’s Chris Harris, Jibbs, Cherish, Fat Joe, Robin Thicke, Lloyd Banks, Avant and CEO of Ludacris Kids Foundation’s Mrs. Roberta Shield… to name a few.
In 2006, Tha Low was nominated for the Truth Award for best video show. We also added Victor ‘J Bling’ Vallo to help make Tha Low a household commodity with his creative style marketing and promoting strategies.
In 2007, Tha Low released a series of monthly episodes on DVD made free to the public. Over 500-1000 copies was distributed to various high schools, barbershops, mom and pops stores, colleges, events and nightclubs. One of the key elements on each DVD release is local business advertising. Our target audience is 10-35 years of age, both male and female of every race and ethnicity with disposable income. The aim is also help provide a forum for local businesses and communities to express comments or concerns on the state of entertainment.
