About Me

Territorio Comanche es un proyecto audiovisual conformando por Jairo Cataño, Rodolfo Venegas y Tomas Mendez, artistas colombianos residentes en Barcelona. Su musica es el resultado de la experimentación entre diferentes estilos musicales donde confluyen géneros tan variados como: Rock, Surf, Electro, Drum 'n' Bass, Ritmos latinos y Dub, siendo este ultimo la base de la banda.
Durante las presentaciones en vivo de Territorio Comanche, la música se complementa mediante un set de proyecciones en video, creando diferentes atmósferas que sumergen al publico en un entorno audiovisual completo. Por su modulación del sonido y sincronía en directo, las imágenes pasan a ser un instrumento musical más de la banda y el -resultado en concierto es una experiencia cinemática sobre una base de dub psicodélico con referencias latinoamericanas.
Territorio Comanche is an audiovisual project conformed by Jairo Cataño, Rodolfo Venegas and Tomas Mendez, 3 Colombian artists with residence in Barcelona, Spain. Their music is the result of experimenting between different musical styles, where Rock, Surf, Electro, Drum 'n' Bass, Latin Rythms and Dub gather together in one single project, being Dub the essence of the band.
Playing live Territorio Comanche enhances its music with video projections, creating different atmospheres submerging the public in a complete audiovisual contour. Because of its synchronization with the music and realtime sound modulation, images are treated as another musical instrument of the band and the result in concert is a full cinematic experience over a psycho-dub foundation with some Latin-american references.
