Caracas, 20th April 1978.At an early age he moved to Bogotá. When he was 13 years old he began learning percussion under the supervision of experienced musicians such as Pablo Bernal, the drummer with Carlos Vives, Ernesto Simpson, one of the most influential musicians on the Cuban music scene and Mario Baracaldo, a renowed jazz musician from the University of Berkeley, amongst others.Pol Moreno formed part of various acoustic music projects in Bogotá. He played the drums and the electric bass in genres such as Rock, Funk, Progressive, Metal and Folk. Amongst all the projects which he has taken part in, it is worth mentioning:
Los Felics, La Stulta Viro and Mamut, with whom he participated in various tours and well-known festivals.In 2000 he moved to Barcelona and took part in various local projects such as
La Banda Revuelta, and Circo de Almas; the last of which was also affiliated with the music project Colifata, promoted by Manu Chao.
At present, he is the drummer with Chumbimba, a fusion folk band. Along with this, he has created and promoted the group La Fe together with Amos Piñeros and Andrés Ortiz, both well-established musicians on the mestizo scene in Barcelona. www.la-fe.org.
In addition to the afore mentioned projects, Pol Moreno has also turned his attention to electronic music, incorporating the use of the Yamaha DTXpress into his percussion sets. Motivated by live experimentation with machine-generated sounds, he forms the electronic group UNO together with Amos Piñeros. Through UNO Pol Moreno is developing another facet as a producer working for television and theatre.

In 2005 he launched his solo project thanks to the incorporation of a set which has allowed him to make live electronic music.Experimental, Techno, House and currently concentrating on Minimal and Deep trends, Pol Moreno incorporates elements of Latin music into his studio work as well as live performances, defining his status as a LATIN LIVE ACT.Currently Pol Moreno belongs to the label: www.afterpunk.es.Pol Moreno studied Psychology in Bogotá and in Barcelona.
