In the year 2000 Funk Guru, Phillipe and now former member bornaa, started spinning at the mama net.club where they met each other (Feelipa joined them in 2004, the same year bornaa left the group). Due to the lack of drum'n'bass parties, they had soon realized that if they want to be able to play their records to a crowd in one of Zagreb's regular clubs, they will have to organize their own parties. So, in the autumn of 2001 they made their first party in Attack, the most alternative underground club in Zagreb. Party was a big success and they decided to form a crew with three more members, named the crew quite fittingly "confusion" and started their own regular drum'n'bass/breakbeat nights "Illectric Funk". In the next couple years "Illectric Funk" became Croatian premiere d'n'b/breakbeat night, hosting biggest names of the scene like Optical, Storm, EZ Rollers, Peshay, Klute, Calyx, Paradox, B.L.I.M., Chris Carter, Teebee, Black Sun Empire, Chris Su, SKC, Rascal & Klone, Optiv, Paul B, Marcus Intalex, Calibre... Soon they started smaller club nights called "Playground" (Vex'd, Spor, Lynx, Vicious Circle, Macc, Shitmat...) and "Videoskop" (VJ events).
Their biggest projects are ILLECTRIC FUNK Festival and S*CORE .. 1st Croatian snowboarding & music festival. ILLECTRIC FUNK Festival hosted names like DJ Krush, Dub Pistols, SKC, TM Juke live, Scotch Egg, Nocturnal, Teknoist, Molara and many more. Confusion closed their 2nd ILLECTRIC FUNK Festival with LTJ Bukem, MC Conrad and more than 1500 people at open air place.
Confusion DJ's performed with Roni Size and MC Tali, LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad in Lazareti (Dubrovnik), Porat (Prosika) and Monvi Center (Rovinj). They were often DJ support on T-Com events - Windsurfing festival and Extreme park, and they were part of organisation that organised official Kosheen after party in Zagreb where Decoder & Substance played. They also performed at festivals like EXIT Festival in Serbia, LIFT fest in Sarajevo, Seasplash reggae festival and Media Mediterranea in Pula, Motovun film festival, MTV Valkana Beach festival, Elevate festival, Priredba festival in Rijeka, Vip Inmusic festival, Outlook festival (Garden - Zadar), Burning The Beach festival, Jewish Film festival London - Zagreb, oOoze festival (Dubrovnik), Underwater Overground, Rabac Summer festival, Free as a bird, Future Sound of Zagreb, Springroll festival, and many more...
They were guests on 1st Drum'n'bass seminar that was held in Sarajevo and they organised 2nd drum'n'bass seminar in Zagreb.
They played in almost every city in Croatia, Slovenia (Bled, Skofija Loka, Ljubljana), Macedonia (Bitola), Graz, Klagenfurt, Praha, Beograd, Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Sofija Broken Balkans, Yartz Art Lab)....
They also run their own radio show on Radio Student since 2002.
Last couple of years they became more versatile and now, in their DJ sets, beside drum&bass you can hear jungle, breaks, electro, electrobreaks, ghetto tech, dubstep, booty, digital dancehall, glitch hop, hip-hop, reggae, IDM, '80s, '90s, breakcore, raggacore and gabber.
