Pay Attention To The Human (Featuring Tony Benn)Colin MacIntyre, AKA Mull Historical Society, the songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, is from the Island of Mull (population: 2,000) in the Atlantic Ocean, off Scotlands west coast. Colin has released 3 albums under the Mull Historical Society pseudonym : Loss(2001), Us(2003) & This Is Hope(2004). So far Colin has achieved 4 UK Top 40 hits, and 2 UK Top 20 albums. Colin has now decided to drop the Mull moniker and will be releasing his 4th album The Water under his own name, in 07. This does not represent any artistic changes for Colin. CHECK OUT NEW TRACK BE MY SAVIOUR on the mp3 above, ITS RECENTLY BEEN USED ON THE STORMBREAKER FILM SOUNDTRACK. 'Loss', which spawned the terrific hit 'Watching Xanadu', has gone on to receive tremendous critical acclaim and many albums of the year polls the world over, and is nearing 100,000 sales in the UK alone. In just a year, Colin, and a 15ft large dog (which has now retired to his garage), went from supporting The Strokes on their toilet venue debut UK tour to selling-out the 2000 capacity Shepherds Bush Empire, collecting Scotland's Top Creative Talent Award, and touring with REM. His second album "Us" hit the UK Album Chart at number 19, and 'The Final Arrears' single charted in the top 40. Again it was universally well received in the press the world over. Colin has toured the U.K., Europe and the U.S.A. His forth top 40 hit 'How 'Bout I Love You More' was released off the 'This Is Hope' album in 2004. On 'This Is Hope' Colin raised the bar again for inventive songwriting. His new album proves to be his best yet. A songwriting junkie, oblivious to passing trends, he has become more than just Mull's local hero. His not-so-secret society is growing all the time. Colin has been produced on 'The Water' by Lemon Jellys Nick Franglen. The results are amazing.
