..id=GeneralRow valign="top" align="left" width="100%" bgcolor="#b1d0f0" General Hey just for shits and giggles, vote for me on THE DJ LIST. Place your VOTE by clicking the banner below. Remember the DJ that took care of you all these years!!! Thanks!
Yea yea, about me, shit I don't know what to write... I've never been good at these things. But I'll give it a try...
I'm a pretty laid back individual who has taken my fair share of life's "knocks" at rather an early age so I try not to take things TOO seriously. I get a long with almost everybody except really egotistic or pushy people. Oh yea, I'm not too tolerant of liars either. I pretty much keep myself busy with working. I love working (weird huh). I work from home so it's easy to have fun! I sit here, work on my computer and crank up tunes! Which brings up the next topic, MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC!!!
Ahhh music..... Geez man that has consumed my life! I bought my first record when I was 4 years old and I'm NOT kidding! I can remember riding my bike to Woolworths as a kid and blowing all my allowance on tunes. Funny as you get older how some things never change! It's always about the music! I like all styles and types as long as it has a cetain quality (don't ask me to describe it, I can't). I'll groove on everything from 50's to the most modern electronic sounds. Always switching channels, always keeping an ear open for the next sound. An yes, still buying tons of records!! There's records in every room in my house! WAY too many! But I can't stop! And soon, I'll be rebuilding my studio and back in the business of making tunes! Hey Yummy!!" just turned 10 years old, I need to write it's sequel.
I've been DJ'ing in clubs for 20 years. I love it. I love making people dance because I believe that no one has a bad time when they're dancing. I've just sort of had an ear for it I guess. I've been very luck in that regards. My favorite thing to spin is progressive house. But I can bust out a mean 80's new wave set or even a set 0f 60's & 70's on 45 if you like! I just love the tables... They call records "Black Crack" right?? Tell me about it.
When I get time I like to chill out with my friends. Hang out, drink, go to clubs (obviously), spin records (even more obvious), have BBQ's, wake-skate when I get the chance or just watch some TV and relax. Oh yea, and beat my cats "Missy get out of my printer!!!"
I have 4 cats, Karma (my first), Reuben (the typical boy that gets in to everything), Missy (the determined and well, really determined pest) and Newton (the sweetest, most lovable 18 pound solid black cat you've ever seen and he lives under the bathroon sink!!). They're awesome whenever they're not hacking up hairballs. Honestly, I couldn't live without them. I've always been a cat person. Mom & dad always had cats and cats seem to gravitate towards me. People keep trying to give me cats! That's how I ended up with 4 I guess right?
Last but not least, is my 1969 GTO. Poor thing. It's been te recipient of most of my neglect. I bought it when I was a freshman in college (I sold the family Buick for it). That move certainly caused some friction between me and the folks for a while. But they got over it. The car is in really good shape but it needs work and I never seem to get around to doing it. I love driving it and now that I've had it so long it's like a time machine for me. I get in this thing and it takes me back all those years. It's an escape for me for sure. I'm not sure why I'm so afraid to restore it. Maybe I'm just used to the way it is or I'm afraid it'll be too nice to drive. Or I don't know....
For more info about me, please check my website! Free music downloads, detailed bio, discography, calendar and more are available there.
I PROMISE I'll write more on this page soon!!!

My Interests

Progressive House music (that what I currently spin), 80's New Wave Music (that what I was spinning when I started). I LOVE the new underground electronica movement, all sorts of downgroove and weird beaty stuff. And most all other types of music except modern country (yuk). I even like vintage country, old rock (mainstream and underground), hell I even like some hair bands!! You might even catch me listening to some Snoop, just don't tell anyone.Other interestes, messing around in my recording studio, rebuilding my 1969 GTO (or, more honestly, wiping the dust off of it every month or so and taking it for a spin). Hanging out with my wife Heather & friends.
