About Me
To know me is to love me...or hate me - take your pick!
I'm originally from Portsmouth, VA. But was only there 3 days. My entire family is from New York, I was the first outsider. My father was in the Navy, and we moved every 2 or 3 years. I've lived everywhere seriously - New York(three times), California(twice), Hawaii, Connecticut, and Florida all before the age of 12.
We settled in New Smyrna Beach, where all my family has now escaped to, in 1988. I graduated from New Smryna Beach High School in 1993. And enlisted in the Army 3 months later.
Spent 6 years in the Army. Running, crawling jumping out of "perfectly good airplanes" all over. Ft Benning, Hunter Army Airfield, Ft Bragg, Langley, all have given me places to sleep at one time or another. Got to do some pretty intense and fun things.
After 6 years and two broken ankles - no worries it was the same one - I moved home to New Smyrna. I went to school, graduated as a Registered Nurse. I worked in an Emergency Room for 3 years.
And all in between, since 1993, I've DJ'ed. I blame this hobby and addiction on Jon and Bill Zdanis - you know exactly who you are!! It has given me many unique opputunities. I've played all over North Carolina. When I moved back to Florida, I had the oppurtunity to play at Sol Rays, in Daytona Beach. I played a few times in Orlando, Firestone and various little places.
Then I was given a shot to open for Andy Hughes at Thee Grotto, in Downtown Orlando, by Eli, for Old School Sundays. Billy Z, Andy and I had a great time playing on Sundays. We then made the move to Fridays. It was really a great ride.
I moved to Gainesville, Florida, in July '05 for new career opportunities at Shands at the University of Florida. So far so good professionally. I visit home and Orlando when I can, and I'm always up for visitors... You know who you all are!!! I miss all my friends in Orlando, hence being on myspace.
